Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing your adventure! 😊 Can't wait to see you back on the road for new ones! Greets from Sweden! I'm also experimenting in a similar way with a Swedish e-bike. Keep it up! 😊 👍

Hello, I just watched your video. I've done a lot of bike packing in the past some on road some off-road carrying all my gear and even pulling a cargo trailer you have truly pushed it to its limit. The motor on the bike is designed to cut off its electricity when it reaches a certain temperature this is to save the motor from frying. Who says e biking can't give you exercise there's been many times that I've had to get off and push mine also when it just couldn't handle incline or roughness of the terrain. When I go on longer rides 48 volt 20 amp battery and a 48 volt 10 amp battery. That will get me at least 80 miles. My e-bike I bought on Amazon for like 800 bucks. I transferred a lot of good equipment for my other mountain bike to the new e-bike Karma and I installed a good rock shock Fork. So basically the only original things on the bike at this point are the frame the front rear wheels and motor. It was nice to have something to build on and upgrade and improve and needs. I have taken my e-bike off-road many times but nothing ever is rough as what you took it on. But you can look at it this way even though you had to get off and push and lift Etc in several spots you're still making better time than if someone was just hiking without much weight. Especially on any of the downhill I enjoyed your professional filming music and narration keep up the good work. If you're ever interested in a trailer I would recommend the Schwinn cargo trailer. It can carry about 75 lb it's very low to the ground and can be totally folded up for storage. So far I've only used it for grocery shopping

That's a cool trip! Nice to see a video of the Aventure 2 all packed out. It's got so much capability to be packed yet I hardly see anyone do it. What a cool platform for it though. I really look forward to the future of what e-bikes will bring for stuff like this. Mid-way between this style and a Surron with decent 50mph+ speed, 100 miles or more range, plenty of space to pack it up but also really trail capable is the literal dream. Look forward to the longer trip video also. I'm going to try a small solar panel with an existing solar power station for mine.

Thanks so much for watching! I’m still looking at new e-bikes with a little more power for longer trips… not sure yet though.

Four of those giant batteries, one tiny hub motor. The amount of energy required to move all that dead weight is too high. Love your adventurous spirit. Going to attempt something similar, but much, much, longer with one extra battery, a burly trailer and a 160w solar panel. See you out there my man!

I’m considering a solar panel as well for my camping trips. Have fun out there!

I’m just impressed that you gave this a try. Maybe the motor was pushed to limits but it appears the frame and suspension held up fine, which is a testament to Aventon’s impressive build quality. And nice filming, by the way.

Thanks so much for watching! Yes, Aventon has amazing build quality it just keeps on chugging whatever I throw at it.

Nice adventure-video young man. Keep up the good work. I think you might have found the limits for your ebike....or any bike for that matter!

Yes... I tend to over-exert my e-bikes lol. Thanks so much for watching!

I remove the rear wheel and open the hub for inspection and greasing every six months. It takes about one hour. Roughly 500 mi a month commuting, recreational, and getting groceries.

I didn’t even know you can open up the rear hub. But now that I think about there’s bolts on it. I haven’t touched the motor in all 2500 miles lol…

Yes, so my first motor had over 3,000 Mi on it and burned up. So I did some research on KZbin finding how to service them. It's pretty simple with basic bicycle maintenance tools. Cleaning up the ring gear and the planetary gears and then regressing them is very important because they do dry out from the Heat over time. The manufacturer never tells you about this kind of Maintenance probably because it wouldn't be good for selling you a new e-bike or rear wheel when the first one fails

@@waltersmithat70 this is really good advice. I’m certainly going to check it out, my motor has been making Wierd noises too because of the wear and tear.

I have the aventure 2, just over 100 miles on it mostly paved roads. Are you doing your own maintenance on the bike? Excellent video work. 👍
@MustBePerfectForever10 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes, I do the maintenance but there just isn't that much to do. Lubricate the chain and make sure all the bolts are tight and that's about it.

Sic video bud, may I ask where you got that solar panel in your tablet holder. I'd love to get one for my bike.
