Hmm I think it's good for people who want a taste of designer that can't afford the designer prices. I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *jklux* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it

I have two pre-loved*jklux* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

I never thought I would say this but I absolutely saw myself in what Lydia said about the handbags and how being able to buy them means you are doing well. I always loved handbags and after many years of working hard I became partner at the company I worked for. Hi Lydia/Ali The birds you’re seeing are Starlings. They gather at Dawn and Dusk and right before bed you hear them swoop into trees and chatter really loudly. The reason they gather this way is to look larger so that a predator bird {which are everywhere } will be less likely to attack them as they have such quick response times so move as one, almost like liquid. Each bird spending limited time at the edge which is where they’re most vulnerable. In my 20’s I used to call them ‘The likely lads’😂as they were always in my garden and they waddle and fight with their feet in flight even for a bit of bacon rind. They’re really intelligent and kick windows to feed them if the feeder is low. I was never a big bird lover but I pay attention as I love nature. Hope that’s informative. From a girl who loved her frocks and nights out with friends I learnt to love nature too through these little guys. Sparrow hawks would attack them daily in my gardens even swooping over my head as they only had eyes for them in great numbers. It really is fascinating and when you notice this you’re aware of why they gather like a giant family but fight like siblings 🤣

I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carry on however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *gtdupe* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I am very happy with *gtdupe* 's bag, arrived on time and exceeded my expectations! Need a stylish little backpack to go to theme parks with my kids. I'm not a backpack person and usually carry a purse with me, but I wanted something that was easier to carry and less carried over the shoulder. I bought the smaller size, but it holds 2 water bottles, snacks, a couple of light sweaters, and a bunch of other small things. I like that the opening is in the back, great for travel.

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *yutulu* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

Looks like the birds you were watching were rooks either flying to or from roost - they sleep in big groups in trees, known as a Rookery. One of the best things about the nights drawing in is that they fly home to roost/sleep as the dusk sets in, so because that's earlier you get to see them more often. :) Loving the appreciation of the seasons!

Dog tails are a fascinating aspect of their body language and communication! When we evaluate tail height, we're really looking at the base of their tail, as some dogs have a tail that's going to curve up no matter what. A low or tucked tail indicates fear, discomfort/pain, unease, etc. A tail that is held midline/neutral is going to be aligned with their back, and that's often a content or happy dog. When walking and sniffing, this is probably a dog who is lost in contemplation of all the good smells. A tail with a higher carriage indicates excitement (what we in the behavior field would call arousal), which can translate to happiness, playfulness, alertness or agitation- the higher and more stiff or still the tail, the less of a good sign that tends to be. The movement itself (a circular wag, a stiff sort of rattle, a loose sweep from side to side) coupled with the angle at which its held can tell us so much about what a dog is feeling!

Hi Lydia been watching you for years. Hey a couple of pointers when riding your legs need to be underneath your bottom. If you had no horse you should be able stand in the position, so your stirrups are too short pushing you back. This will help with your rising trot. Another tip the centre of your breast plate - treat it like a light house light and that should be leading your riding if you are doing a circle keep this area looking where you need to go. ❤

I am making a huge point of appreciating each day, how dry and wonderful autumn has been, breathing in the fresh air, so that on the days where it is murkier I don't get bogged down in the negative. Love the bag - I honestly don’t like the ethos of Hermes - having to spend thousands on bits before you will even be offered a bag - and probably not get what you requested - I find that abhorrent. I have no issue with some people having more money who are happy to spend thousands on handbags - if that’s what they want - I have 🎉spent as little as £30 on a basket bag up to £3k on my most expensive bag - and everything in between 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that part is all a matter of choice ………. There will of course be people who want to make you feel bad that your spending that kind of money - but that’s wrong - if you have earned it - you can spend your money in whatever you wish ❤

You are lucky that your thrift store has such great prices. Be all of my local thrift stores price everything as if you are shopping at Neiman Marcus. Even if the *jklux* are not real name brand. Lydia, you’re so lovely and I love your taste, but I really don’t understand the obsession with Hermès bags, to me they’re boring, dull and not quite luxurious but massively overpriced. The huge H logo is also a complete turn-off for me, personally speaking. I do think you’re a purveyor of quiet luxury, and you’ve got a unique personality. Quite recently I found a Tom Ford era Gucci leather tote bag with a bamboo handle that was in mint condition and I was absolutely over the moon. I do wish you would give other brands a chance and not merely be in this constant Hermès era obsession…
