As I get older I try so hard to make Christmas special it takes me back to my childhood and all the magic and joy my mom would create for me. I can't wait to have kids of my own one day to make them feel that magic and Christmas spirit. It's never too early to decorate and be in the festive spirit!

Lovely to see you and Carrie together again - you are always your best self with her - it’s so clear what a special connection and friendship you have and I love to see the funny relaxed side of you! Also it’s so good to see you so happy and content these days - I have followed you for a long time, you have worked so hard on your journey of self discovery and it’s a pleasure to see how you have found and created a life that makes you happy. You are so self assured these days and that’s brilliant! ❤

You are so right about the Christmas spirit being curated by the parents. I have two small children and they lost their grandfather on Christmas Eve a few years ago and I try my best to make happy memories while still honoring losing him (my husband’s dad) I didn’t realize until my kids were toddlers how much my parents did for me as a child, to make happy Christmas memories.

As someone who is chronically ill and on many different medications, I must say that you trying your best to handle things with non-traditional methods gives me hope that I may be able to achieve the same results, albeit, whatever that may look like for me. We are all different, after all. Please know that I appreciate your approach to remedying your issues in a way that works for you. Sharing your health journey is something I admire most about you. Christmas is so magical and important for many reasons. My Mom was amazing, after My Dad passed away when I was 5 , she made the most wonderful safe home for my older and younger brothers as well. Christmas was full of traditional family fun, that’s stayed with me and always will. I hold my faith and believe we will be all together at some point, until then I make the Christmas magical with every minute a special one . Take care xx xxx

I really resonated with what you were saying about making the magic of Christmas for yourself and for the others around you. I feel that making the Christmas/Hanukkah season magical for my friends and family is what makes me feel so festive and joyful. And it’s not just for parents and kids! As our parents get older, we can turn the magic they gave us as children into magic we can make together, for each other. At university, I put a lot of effort into making the holidays magical for my roommates and I. I think it helped us really get through the exam period and brought us closer together. ❤🎉

Lydia, this is said with kindness, you can obviously don't have to listen to any of us with opinions on your headaches, but a while back you spoke to us about the struggles you were having with health stuff, particulary related to your hormones. Well, a big disrupter of hormones is... alcohol and the additives in alcohol. Also, additives in make up, and food, etc. Hormones play a massive part in headaches - I've been going through menopause and I started having migraines with auras, to the point where I go blind for a short time. Most of us are alerting you to the experiences we have been through and share it with you so that you don't have to go through it. Again, up to you whether you want to receive it as people being negative, or positive.
@Hviv983Ай бұрын
It’s so hard isn’t it. I also have stopped alcohol 18 months ago and it has literally been life changing. However if someone had told me 2 years ago i should think about stopping, I would not of wanted to have heard it and said exactly the same as Lydia. Anyone on the fence read “how to kick the drink easily” by Jason Value. It’s a shame we have to say “this is said with kindness” as alcohol is so imbedded in English culture you are almost seen as a loony trying to suggest people stop drinking!

Hello Lydia! So appreciative for your Amazon recommendations, you have no idea how helpful and resourceful these are to me as a field worker in London. This involves long hours spent outdoors in the cold evaluating and assessing logistics in the city. So I need not tell you how happy I was when I came across the heated insoles, which of course lead to the plethora of other variations. Will need to wait for my next pay check ~ but at least that will give me something to look forward to knowing that all my parts will be spared! 😂 From a very appreciative subscriber ❤

All of the trees look beautiful, including the one under the stairs. You are right, the fact that the cushion matches the ribbon on the tree is so pretty. From the angle you have taken the video, the cushion on the chair should be in the other corner. Because it leads your eye into the vignette of the tree and the chair. The cushion almost acts like an arrow leading your eye into the center, and then all around the vignette. Does that make sense? It’s one of my crazy interior design “rules”. it’s like if you had two portraits of people from the side view. The portraits would hang on the wall so that each was looking at each other. So you are looking at the portraits in the center and possibly what is below. if each portrait was facing out, you would naturally look where their eyes are looking, which would be out of the vignette. If you can even follow this at all, I applaud you! It probably is crazy, but I think this tiny detail in vignettes makes a huge difference. Happy holidays!

The Nerve from the (Nerves System) is giving us pain in the area where it is stuck. There are 2 sources of pain: or the nerve is stuck locally or it is stuck from the spinal column. Since early age I was taught never to stay in place where it is formed steam of air. Example a room where a window and a door is open - source of air come from different places and form this steam. It depends for each person individually to find the external issue that causes the pain in the body. It is easy to release the nerve (there are few simple methods) so it will stop giving pain, but the problem is, if you continue to do the same mistake the pain will come again.
