When I was 12 money was put into a trust fund for my 3 younger brothers and I, 600.00 for each of us. When I graduated from high school, I wrote to Sacramento to get the money from the trust fund because I had turned 18 2 months after I graduated. I was going to use the money for college, but I got the shock of my young life, back in 1972 my mom had taken the money out of all 4 of our trust fund accounts. She stole 2,400.00 plus whatever interest it had accumulated. I also lost an academic full ride scholarship to San Diego State University because I was only 17 and she wanted me to go to a local college so I could live at home, work, and support herself and my stepdad, and since I was under 18, she had to sign the paperwork for me, needless to say, I lost the scholarship. I left home when I was 17 and never went back.

She didn't go with her husband abroad and was going on vacations and luxury dinner with money meant for their son. She was definitely cheating too. She just didn't fess up to it. At least the Husband didn't try to hide his infidelity and paid out appropriately. If he wasn't happy he should have divorced long ago, but that's another argument for another day.
