when I was 10 yrs old I saw bill dance do a series on bass fishing with a black and chartreuse worm . well I ask my dad to by me a pack and he did the next day I road my bike to the bayou down the street from my house didn't know what I was doing to my surprise my first bass was about 4lbs my second fish for the day was about 2lbs I was so happy ... that was the summer of 1985 now I'm 42 and a bass fisherman for life with all my heart thank you Mr Dance for the great years and inspiring me as a kid my you keep on teaching and inspiring kids to grow up and fish .... Some of the funniest Bill Dance shows we’re he had guest like Jerry Reed,The Manure Man. Mel Tillis Those shows were so funny... wish I could see them again.

I can't believe it, I grew up on watching bill dance since I was 3 or 4 years old. It got me wanting to fish everyday. Thank you Bill, thank you. I'm glad I found these videos, brings back a lot of good lod memories. Now I'm barely getting back to bass fishing my old fishing spot. Gonna keep it that way. Thanks for helping me get going!

I have watched his show since the early 1990,s when I was a young boy. Saw an episode, the next day I went and got me a cheap rod and real went to one of the many ponds on golf courses around here and caught many fish that day not huge but because of what he showed me on here I was able to catch fish at least and I was hooked lol that was 27 years ago now, gosh how time flies :( anyways thank you bill for you great show and helping many youngsters keep your tip up brother from California

I smashed my knee into the hitch of my brother's truck the other day and the first thing that hit me was Bill Dance saying "think of what your gonna do before you do it". It was -22 degrees outside at the time and I was pushing snow. How bout that.
