This was fantastic and didn’t feel it was out of context at all. Being comfortable with this presentation will be affected by your level with certain concepts around CMS templating in general. In that sense this isn’t exactly for “beginners “ but this absolutely delivers 100% on its stated purpose. This was exactly what I was looking for and has me pointed in the right direction. Thank you!

This was nice, but out of context its pointless. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate when folks take the time to put up tutorials and all...so, thank you for your time and effort, much appreciated. If you did a vid on actually working with your site template and showing how to find (or better understand the API) a pages objects, properties, styles, etc...that would be enormously helpful. Showing me that "shop is an object and .description is a property, is helpful (well for some...) but an API reference or method for discovering what exists in a template page is hugely important. If I have some java script to do some fancy thing, where do I put that in all these template files? If my image isn't resizing properly when the page is displayed on a phone, where do I go to tweak the css? If I want to add a link to a template text section and have that target a new tab window where do I go? etc... etc... I would applaud anyone who has more in depth information, resources or tutorials on any of this. Thanks! I did find kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zoq0i5p5iLuXfNU which was fantastic. More of this kind of stuff please!!! ...and thanks again!

I believe complaining about the fact that this video does not explain how most web based languages work isn't really valid considering liquid is just a container for HTML, CSS and JS files and uses Shopify data to modify some of them. For HTML or CSS doubts like the ones you asked you should check www.w3schools.com/ It has a ton of useful information related to how things are supposed to be made. Another reason to why this isn't a small request is the fact that some file names change depending on the theme you are using for your store, in many cases, your store theme website should have all the documentation you need related to file names and the template functionalities.

Is there any way you can adjust the volume? After about five minutes I had to abandon what seems like a valuable video - because I just cannot push the volume high enough.

whenever I use Inspect Element to find the CSS so I can change it in the Theme Code, I than can't find it in the Theme code to change it. It is there in 'Inspect Element', but not when I look for it in the actual edit theme code. This includes when I search for it.

In shopify is it possible only we can search product by name not in the product description? If i enter 'Poncho' in search bar it shows all products that have the title name 'Poncho' and it shows other products that has this word in product description. I want to show only those products that has word 'Poncho' in prodcut name not in product description.
