As for when the Conservatives gave the lie to polls by winning a governing majority in the UK, this referendum may likewise fail because of all the misinformation being put about by No voters, and the fact that people are reluctant to admit to a pollster, they're voting Tory, or voting No. I wish the Yes campaign every success, but never, ever count your chickens before they hatch.

The Taoiseach is being misleading here. He says that marriage has nothing to do with children. He is saying that it is just about couples in love who want to marry. Article 41 of the Constitution states: 1° The State pledges itself to guard with special care the institution of Marriage, ON WHICH THE FAMILY IS FOUNDED, and to protect it against attack. Article 42 states: 1° The State acknowledges that the primary and natural educator OF THE CHILD IS THE FAMILY and guarantees to respect the inalienable right and duty of parents to provide, according to their means, for the religious and moral, intellectual, physical and social education of their children. See the association of marriage, family and children?!! Taoiseach stop misleading the public!!! By redefining marriage as gender neutral it will automatically redefine parenthood as gender neutral, thereby by design deny a child the right to a mother and a father. Marriage is about more than a couple in love, it is about providing a stable nurturing environment for children. If you are voting Yes or NO, do so with full knowledge of the consequences for marriage, children and society.
