Not to contradict the neighborhood board member but the problem of crime is not with this incident, but the justice system which lets perps go lightly with plea deals and light sentences. Also the legislature which wants to have "no bail" reform.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES WERE NOT FOLLOWED OBVIOUSLY!!!!!! I WORKED JUVENILE DETENTION FACILITY YEARS AGO , TRUST ME AND YOU THINK FAMILY COURT BACK THEN … oh WAIT! Detention FACILITY FOLLOWED POLICY AND PROCEDURES , you THINK PLEASE!!!!! Back then NO ONE CARED HOW MANY HOURS WE GOT STUCK , and still HAD TO DRIVE HOME DAMN TIRED … so again…. Whoever RELEASED , Hit pressed THAT BUTTON LET THAT MALE OUT THINKING HE WAS ANOTHER OFFICER, needs TO TRAIN AGAIN OR BELONG JUST ANSWERING PHONES!!!!! No one standing by The Bathroom Door 🚪 or at LEAST IN SITE OF THE BATHROOM DOOR TO WATCH BE IN VIEW OF MALE????? He’s still in Y’all Custody . THEN I SEE HOW A STOP WAS HANDLED ON KANEOHE SIDE? Whole bunch of Undercover Officers, SWAT, 1 car, 1 Male, chase … just listening to male videoing on meanhawaii IG he was stunned! Scared! COULD Y’ALL HANDLED THAT SITUATION LITTLE MORE SAFE? At least for the public ( putting them at risk for 1 Damn Male ) , I guess if that’s the ONLY WAY HAD TO DO IT THEN, RIGHT ON 👍, whole lot of YOU POUNDING OUT ONE GUY , I’m just Grateful No one on Road got Hurt during Y’ALL CHASE FOR THIS MALE. 🙏🏼 He was Watching over Them!

Using the restroom?? What? The restroom is inside the holding cell. And if it is a cell without a toilet 🚽 then the officer open his cell to let him out to use the restroom needs to keep an eye on him until he/she put him back inside his cell and SECURED the door. As for the person at the operating room too complacent. EVERY door or most EXITS Door has a camera. So that way you make sure who is pushing that exit button to exit or enter the building. Or the holding area. Other than that at least he never makes out on the streets again. Sounds like plenty of staffs will go fishing 🎣 lol…..
