i think its becoming to hard for him , he abondoned Orge Battle very early but he was going to soft lock himself by getting rid of all the people who could use holy and he was only a few levels away from a part of the game with almost all undead which can only be killed by holy users

Me too, I haven't watched projared plays for a long time now, and haven't missed a single episode of this series. I often watch the day it comes out and look forward to the next release. I would watch this entire thing for the next 4 months if that is what it takes.

I think the seasons idea is better. He's right that if people get bored with the series and stop watching eventually it will stop recommending the channel to them all together, I've had it happen with lots of channels (including this one, I'm not really a huge fan of Pokemon and those series tend to go on a long time). It wouldn't be healthy for the channel.

@@BriBCG I think the seasons idea has merit. You make a good point. I'm not really into Pokemon and tend to give that content a skip. The other side, though, is the possible viewership drop off from the final fantasy series going dormant. Then those of us who were watching will already have moved on and may lack any motivation to pick it back up several months later.

I, for one, would watch it all. When every episode ends I wish there were more to keep watching. That said I'm sure I don't speak for everyone.....and our positive comments don't always line up with the analytics. And I'm thinking about the game and realize a good end of a season is coming up.......so I'm sad. And that's on you Jared. I'll also get over it very quickly so don't worry about me haha.

The problem with comments compared to analytics is that the people who aren't watching because they're fatigued aren't leaving comments. Most of the comments are only coming from the people who are watching the series. Which can make a series' reception seem far better on the surface than it actually is.

I would suggest just sprinkling in other games alongside of this, because I don't know about anyone else, but I like long let's play series. Also, the Veil Dancer's steal is the Thief Knife, which is basically the "mug" command. They also will not use any magic, unless they are alone. "Suplex" does gravity damage, meaning if an enemy is immune to Demi, it's immune to suplex.

@@Bananahammock681 I don’t see why running concurrent series doesn’t solve this. Like, I watch almost all of his content but I don’t care at all about Metroid. If he’s running multiple games per week, why doesn’t that mitigate the risk? If anything, I think he might put out too much content between the Let’s Play channel and the VoDs such that he might cannibalize his own views from one series or content to another. Also, if he just abandons series, which he’s been doing with increasing frequency, people are not going to tune in from the start.

I liked having Celes as Party Leader when I did Zozo. Her chest opening reaction is just "Oh a *item*". So when you open the hidden chest its just "Oh a Chainsaw" as if its the most normal thing to find in a chest.^^

The VeilDancers drop Thief Knives. They are super useful! I always get at least 2 so shadow can steal in WoR. They also add good physical evade. Here’s hoping you continue this play through! You already inspired me to play FF6 pixel remaster again!

For Blitz commands, there are alternate inputs! For Fire Dance you can put in "LEFT DOWN DOWN RIGHT" and it should work if the inputs on your controller are being iffy about the diagonals.

The biggest problem with RPGs is there's a lot of downtime, so for the people that sit down and put all their focus on whatever they're watching it may start to drag after a while. It's perfect for the way I watch videos though, which is usually on the other monitor and when something interesting starts happening I pay more attention to it.

Series fatigue? Jared, you've played D&D before. Probably two thousand hours into Baldur's Gate. You should know that we'd be up for the long haul, especially a FF6 playthrough. Even if it's once a week for eight months, I'd still be all for it.

Not sure if it's been said here before, but all of sabin's blitz's have an alternate input. For example for aura bolt instead of quarter turn forward, you can press Down, Down, then Forward (3 inputs). This translates for all blitz's. Very helpful to always nail bum rush. (Down x2, forward x2, Up x2, Back x2, Down x2, then single Forward) If I remember right.
