An Unexpected Starter Base - Titancraft S9: #1

Welcome to my very first Minecraft video on this channel!
This is the Titancraft server, TangoTek's Patreon Server, season 9! This is my fourth season on Titancraft, but the first time I am filming and posting videos showing the season from my perspective.
In this episode, we begin the season with some fun exploration and shenanigans with other people on the server, build a starter base, and go mining for resources.

I loved seeing the hub area in the nether before anything happened. By the time I got there it was basically already done lol.

Those couple of clips are honestly all I have of the hub before it was all walled up and starting to really be dug out, it all happened so quickly! I had almost forgotten what it looked like until going back and editing these clips.

What Mods are you running? (what is the armor and chest on the right side of the screen?)

I am running a bunch of mods (that are on the approved mods list for the server; there are also a lot of NOT approved mods that you can't use) - some of the ones I use are Mouse Wheelie, shulker box tool tips, bobby, ASH 2, logical zoom, sodium. The one that has that durability display you mentioned is called "Durability Viewer" on Modrinth

what is the entity cap on the server?

The entity limit for each player is 50 persistent entities allowed around each player at a time. Meaning entities you plan on having around 100% of the time - villagers, armor stands, item frames. Mobs in farms and stuff don't count and are generally normal as long as you don't try and go too overboard.

do people know the seed (aka can you look up where things are in the world?)

We learn the seed once the world has been fully mapped by the player base. Its 10K blocks in all directions and there's a dedicated area at 0,0 every season for displaying the map of the world. When the season begins, players do not know the seed, but it is released once that map is complete.

what do you mean by a mining world?

There is a separate resource world every season of Titancraft for mining. You are allowed to mine on the server under your claimed base area, but that can be a little limiting in terms of what you get, so we have a separate world for mining things like sand, gravel, ice, terracotta, etc. This is so we don't destroy the main world with hundreds of people gathering resources for builds.
