with communal projects how do people helping know what to do?

There is usually a leader leading the project; for the nether hub, I was in charge, and I provided a ton of helpful resources to builders so they knew what to do. And then we coordinate who does what and in what order. All communal projects typically work with someone heading that project and coordinating it.
