One for the FNG's who joined in the 90's. A replacement film for "it could be you" on weapons safety.

The biggest unthinking moment was done by the narrator when he said how wonderful the SA-80 is.

With the pistol sequence, a bunch of people had an unthinking moment - namely John Browning, and the men at FN. Their "unthinking moment" was deciding to incorporate a magazine safety. If there was no magazine safety, it wouldn't have occurred to Bill to insert a magazine in order to ease springs after cleaning.

A sobering moment. The takeaway from any safety lesson is that if you assume it won't happen to you, it is probably going to happen to you above anyone else.

Honestly, that last one seems like something that would just happen if you had an original SA80/L85. Suddenly switching to full-auto for no reason would be something I'd expect from the RSAF's last hurrah.

Sa80 a1, the worst manufactured weapon of British armaments, after the SLR we should've had a choice for using m16, French Famas, and even the sig saucer, but oh no, sa 80 we must use because it's a piece of dog shit, a proper toilet pot gun, we've been stuck with for over 3 decade's. Disastrous weapon.
@fishyc1503 жыл бұрын
@@chrismitchell4808 I used SLR in the 80s, A1 in the 90s and now the A2. I never had an issue with it.

What happened to the NCO on the firing line?That Sergeant and Corporal also have to check each soldier carefully as each soldier clears his individual rifle on the firing line.Those NCOs have failed their responsibilities.That officer failed to comply with range rules along with his NCOs to ensure safety.Dont get into a rush especially with safety!!!
