‘You have got to have all sorts of qualities being a sniper’ - patience yes but what about eating cold scoff and shitting in plastic bags - he forgets to mention these!

Using a fox would have been more convincing than some random german shepard dog that’s come out of nowhere and has a nose like a hoover

We used to make regular trips to SSVC (Services Sound and Vission Corporation). We had stacks of videos like this in our Trainng Wing. Even though most of the people in the videos were actors, they were great learning tools overall.

That rifle was never fired, your man has hardly had time to hit the ground and the rifle's readied again, going that fast you'd definitely hear the bolt.

Do you think the enemy reconnaissance/sniper team would be stupid enough to cross that river and walk around upright during the day or night? The enemy snipers going to move like shown. Without his helmet, and ghille suit? Really? They are trained on par with you. And a soldier is going to go out in the open on the front lines like your “enemy” did? If you have a loophole to shoot through and your enemies sniper team hasn’t mirrored your tactics? Are you fighting against kindergarteners?

Um yes actualy... People get lazy and there's a Haste/security factor involved. If they think they're safe, because the got away with so much recce unobstructed, they might choose to book it instead of go full retard with the ghillie. Snipers exploit this laziness, and are caught when they're equally lazy as well. This is an example of 100% what you should do at all times, but its far from reality in what can actually be achieved in a timely manner. Ghillie suits, hide sites, ect... are arduous work. Ghillie suits are fucking tiring as hell to traverse in, and hide sites take time and shit tons of effort to make, and make right. Steps are skipped for time. That's when the guy who goes full retard takes advantage... ya dig?
