it would be cool if when the mutant was on the bridge it would snap and make the mutant fall, then the guy would go check from the side of the bridge and the mutant swung up with its arm. the video was really good!

I loved every little moment of this animation! From the music to the sprites, it all conveyed what it was going for in spades! Firstly, the music, I don't think it could of been more fitting. The sheer frantic, random terror of it really makes you empathize with the guy running. You can feel how scared he is, how he's just blindly running from that thing, not caring where he's going just that it's FURTHER away from that THING that just tore that guys head off without even exerting itself. It really kicks it into full horror when we see that thing go from a slow shuffle to a frantic crawl, the music really putting in that dread. When it fades out towards the end, we can feel a sense of relief, the guy thinking he might of gotten away, only for it to silently crawl right in. Then the sprites themselves, the joy mutant is perfect. It's sunken dark eyes are lit up with tiny little lights, it's massive mouth curled into a disturbing grin, it's body bent out of shape, it perfectly has that joy mutant look to it whilst also having it's own horrific twist. The way it drags itself along at the start makes you think he's not that fast, only to see that he is more than happy to do it faster, the thrill of the chase showing off the monsters inhuman determination to take what it wants. The spritework on the guy is great too, you can see just how scared he is through his face alone, he's running with sheer adrenaline pushing him to go as fast as possible. Then at the end, I love how you can see how he's accepted his fate, then confused by the music, then shocked to see the mutant crawl away, it's fantastic story telling without a single word said! Bravo!

Yup. The guy is a modified version of Rick Weeks, and the mutant is mostly from scratch.
