I had to replace valve covers THRICE!!!! finally went with an aluminum version vs the plastics, and so far so good. My engine compartment did smoke quite a bit with the leaking oil; it was pretty obvious as far as seeing the oil seeping up onto the cover and at times even dripping down the side. Get a VQ37VHR motor! A few upgrades such as cams with a tune and you'd be making around 350whp n.a.

I had smoke coming from the right side of the engine due to leak from under filter sandwich plate (for the oil cooler). Some of the leaking oil was somehow ending up on the exhaust due to airflow.

Smokes sitting still. I can't fathom that being the same issue but it could be

@@svoncampe it's good for a simple wing profile. If you have the ability you may want build your own pylons.
