Thank you for the honest review! We hear you loud and clear and will keep improving our process to produce a more consistent product! I'll jump into the warranty question you had near the end of the video. TLDR: Don't take it apart because we designed it to not need that level of maintenance. Here is the long answer: Our First Principals approach to making a knife was that the lock up had to be absolute. In order to achieve that, we had to constrain as many variables as possible to ensure the wear components don't wear out, but in. Loose tolerances tend to have a runaway effect in the breakdown of any assembly, knives being no exception. We see it all the time in frame and liner locks with a multitude of different symptoms with dozens of remedies. Different makers can implement a design change to solve one problem, but it will always come at a cost. Our design maximizes mechanical constrains by relying on press fitting components into the body to let the tensile strength of the material hold things together. The bushing and sealed roller bearings are pressed into the body, and the pivot pin is pressed into the blade. That leaves only rotational freedom for the blade to move and that friction is all located in the bearings, not the blade rotating around a static pin. Because we isolate all of the rotational friction inside of a sealed compartment, there is no need to take the knife apart to clean because any dirt or debris can be cleared out while everything is still together. All our system needs is a blow gun and any lube you want. We have years of data on this lock up being used in all sorts of different environments, and we stand behind our claim that you don't need to take it apart. If something goes wrong with the action, we will absolutely fix it for you. Nothing is invincible, but designs can be robust, and we shoot for robust.

The blade finish is “salt bath nitride”, I believe. It’s commonly used with pew components, and extremely durable. My Ti MagnaCut Wharncleaver Ridgeback should arrive later today. It’s my first folder with an integral frame. 🤠

I think that USA made are too expensive. Over priced. Like Benchmade I will never buy any more Knifes from them. A knife with ultra cheap scales that you press both side and the scales are touching each other over 250.00 NO THANKS. They should revised their price police. My opinion . . .
