Hi Dennis, Always a great you tube watch.. I have concern with amount of plastic wrapping for the slippers, amenity kit , blanket... this is just Business class. I know some airlines are trying to reduce plastic waste by not wrapping amenity kits in plastic etc. ANA I’m sure are not alone.. and no disrespect them . They are a definite “must fly one day “ carrier. Thanks for the video , always look forward to the pop up notification when a new video of yours occurs.

Glad to see you do a report on this, Dennis. I had the pleasure to fly ANA myself on the same route a couple months ago. Premium Economy to Haneda and Business Class on the return. This would of been the second time I've ever flown Business Class in my life, so suffice to say, I was very impressed. I've wanted to try out ANA ever since they restarted service to Sydney and took the opportunity when it came. I booked myself seat 4A way in advance as I would be traveling by myself. I can agree on the dinner. I was recommended the Japanese option and didn't want to turn that down. I can't say it was my thing either, but I could appreciate the way it was presented and the overall quality. It's quite tricky to do fresh Japanese food on a plane, or so I hear. They crew were fantastic. Courteous, but not overbearing, true to the concept of Japanese hospitality. The hot snack I had before landing was the okonomiyaki and to the cabin attendant's surprise, I really liked it. (Then again, it's a kind I food I thoroughly enjoyed during my trip. Must of thought I didn't enjoy her recommendation for the dinner earlier.) The IFE was good for someone like myself. I was happy some of the Japanese films had English subtitles so I could enjoy them, although I read that the offerings aren't to other's tastes. I'm one to peruse the music section as was happy with the extensive Japanese collections, which is a given. They even had my favourite musician from there. I also noticed they kept the cabin a tad bit warm. I also read about this in advance, but it wasn't as bad as others had put it. Each airline has a different set of SOPs after all. I would of gotten more out of my flight, if it was so turbulent. While I enjoy flying, I find turbulence to be more of an annoyance. Then again, I flew during September which is typhoon season, so it can't be helped. Which makes me wonder, did you cop any chop on your flight? Particularly between Papua New Guinea and the Ogasawara Islands. Great report, as always, Dennis. I'm looking forward to your next report.

Hi Kane, thanks for the comment. I love okonomiyaki! The best ones are served in Hiroshima if you ever get the chance visit one of the little restaurants where they cook them in front of you. Luckily not too much turbulence on this flight - had a good run. I've had some rough flights going into both Singapore and Hong Kong. cheers D

@@DennisBunnikTravels Thanks for the reply. I was able to have what was possibly my best meal over in Japan with okonomiyaki prepared for me in Osaka. Since I enjoyed my trip over in Japan, I'm already preparing to go again next year. I heard that the okonomiyaki in Hiroshima are some of the best. In fact, Hiroshima and Onomichi are already on my list of places to visit next time. I'm glad you had a mostly smooth flight this time around. I know that flying into Singapore and Hong Kong can get rough during certain times of the year. After all, the air in the tropics can be unpredictable at times. Have a good one!

I love ANA's service and food. The on-grouind and flight staff are always so friendly and kind. My Japan Airlines experience was never like that ----always mediocre and the staff was always distant. No wonder ANA is a favorite with so many people!!!! Will you ever have a chance to fly on AEROFLOT? I have heard that they have greatly improved and have one of the youngest and most modern airplanes

I fly ana quite often from SFO to Asia. Many of the inter-Asia flight such as Tokyo to BKK or Jakarta use the older biz class seats that are not lay flat so check before booking.

bluejayrover ANA is a Japanese airline so these flights in Asia would only be 1-4 hours long. These would be considered domestic flights so they wouldn’t warrant a lay flat bed

Got to fly ANA 787 Dreamliner from Mumbai to Narita. I think ANA is really comfortable but the meal service was really really slow to the point it was really annoying. I was seated at the last row of the economy and got the meal at the last.
