Brazilians are an audience extremely faithful. Most of them don't understand english enough to understand you. They love your italian way to explain, to express your reacts, because brazilians do the same way. Speak with their hand, speak loud, clean react when you don't understand anything or something do wrong. But, when you try to speak portuguese with them, you conquest all of these people. They love when you try to speak in portuguese, because it's a huge demonstration that you care about them. They still watching in english with subtitles or not. Other example: when a person that don't speak portuguese or speak a few words need a help in Brazil, they help you mix portuguese, spanish, italian, english, signal languague... We are a huge monolanguage country. Like USA, you don't need to know other language to across thousand of kilometers in this country, instead of Europe, for example (I know, Europe isn't a country, it's a continent, but is smaller than Brazil or USA . So that, we have a few speakers of english if you compare other countries around the word. Great job to speak portuguese to us, Frank 👍🙂
