Together, let's try to make the world a better place one reaction at a time. Lots of people watch my videos, hopefully I brought a smile to your face, so let's try to bring more smiles to people's faces together. Plus together we can promote these great artists and expose them to lots of people. A little support from you goes a long way because it helps to not only inspire me but also to cover my expenses so I can keep making these videos. You can make a big difference for as little as the cost of a cup of coffee. It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice :-) bit.ly/3wo0V1K

I love this!!!!! And yes you did! This is one of my favorites EVER! I have Sinatra’s signature tattooed on my left wrist in ink the color of his eyes. They just don’t make music like this anymore! I was born in the wrong era!

Sinatra é uma voz abençoada etc mas o verdadeiro herói aí é o tom jobim, que criou um novo genero musical e divulgou para o mundo inteiro com um idioma isolado, é indescritível a grandeza desse cara

I lived near Tom Jobim's house in Jardim Botanico, Rio de Janeiro , between 1984 and 86, I saw him many times going down Lopes Quintas steep street with his son by foot, wow! I do love Tom Jobim!!! The greatest of all times!!! Frank Sinatra, the greatest singer also!

Now you have to react to Jobim’s daughter, Maria Luiza Jobim. She’s not well known in the music industry, maybe only in Rio de Janeiro, but her voice is just sweet and soft as her father’s voice, so underrated.

Sinatra...perhaps the greatest male singer in the 20th century. That AWESOME voice, that AWESOME phrasing, that confidence, that swagger...etc., Sinatra had it all. Bing Crosby, a marvelous singer himself said it best... "people like Sinatra come once in a lifetime, but why did he had to come in my lifetime?"

I was so fortunate. My father not only listened, but encouragement and explained the difference between the music I was listening to and and gems like these. Now, that I’m in the Autumn of my years… I think back and realize I had these words memorized in my teens. Grazia Padre’.

Here I am again. I have this album, and I used to go out everyday by the pool and float and listen to it all day. It just took me to another place. ❤ It’s just so beautiful and calms your soul. Fun little tidbit-I have one of his exact lighters engraved with his name I bought that he would use or give his friends. It’s really special to me :), I had to own something he had from this time. I’ll always cherish it!

Tom Jobim was a maestro and composer, not mainly a singer. That's why his voice is that way. He isn't really a singer. He prefers to sing along, that's why Frank Sinatra is a perfect match for him.
