I Love her climbing style. I’m trying to learn to climb as effortlessly as I think the future belongs to the graceful climber. I mean, power is cool, but I feel like it has limits, whereas graceful climbing is limitless.

Actually climbing got a lot more strength focused in recent decades. There was a time when lots of climbers had eating disorders because it was all about having a low body weight. Now world class climbers look really burly and muscular. Of course technique is still very very important. I’ve seen overweight women make steeply overhanging 6c look effortless. I have no idea how they do it.

I mean look at megos, the boy can hold a front level on the beastmaker 45* slopers for like 50 seconds, so it definitely help to be powerful and then cut the weight as much as you can
