I love this movie. It's good to know Mace survived Order 66 and almost got revenge on Anakin. Takers is also another good movie with a good cast that also features Hayden.

I feel like “they have a machine that will reopen your jump points so they can follow us, never go directly anywhere and run around before jumping again” should’ve been the first point in the briefing. That matters a lot more than “they Inquisition was them”

Nightcrawler from X-Men was always one of my favorite characters. The idea of teleportation has always been one of if not my favorite super power. I also love Star Wars so seeing these 2 actors in it automatically enhanced the story for me.

This movie has still the best teleportation effects in a movie 15 years later. This was one of my favorites when I was younger and I've always wanted teleportation power myself. And superspeed or flying is exhausting. You can already run, why are you not running everywhere now? Because a car is more relaxing. Good movie and I wish it had a sequel. Maybe Jamie Bell as lead this time and Sam Jackson needs his help or something.

24:15 - maybe Paladins have reason to hunt jumpers beyond religion and fanaticism. Maybe their jumps hurt the planet or maybe if affects Jumpers' minds and they become psychotic and destructive. But for movie's sake, they couldn't specify without turning David into potential bad guy.

Another fantastic Hayden Christensen movie that I very highly recommend is the 2001 "Life As A House". Excellent movie!

Man I think this was the first movie I saw Hayden in after Star Wars. I recommend Takers & Awake for other movies with him. I always hoped for a sequel for this & I think there was a planned movie for… Griffith that just never happened. I’ve liked Teleportation as a power since seeing Nightcrawler from X-Men and this was a really sweet live action depiction. You think you’d be fat though? Or kinda chubby, like the dude teleports everywhere, not a lot of walking, unless he’s teleporting to the gym or something lol.

Another great reaction to another good movie! (btw it was directed by Doug Liman who made `The Bourne Identity`, `Edge of Tomorrow` and `Mr.&Mrs. Smith`) Hayden, actually, has some decent works beside Star Wars. Such as `Awake`, `The Virgin Territory` ( both are quite underrated as well) and `Shattered Glass` (when the critics finally praised his acting).

For me, this makes a satisfying third chapter in an anthology of "paranormal powers" movies starting with Drew Barrymore's Firestarter, moving on to Chris Evans' Push, and ending with Jumper. They all feature shadowy government agencies (The Shop, The Division, The Paladins) trying to exploit or exterminate exceptional people, and those otherwise ordinary folks they hunt kinda-sorta stick it to the Man by films' end. There's a kinda spinoff series called Impulse (based on the third novel in the Jumper series) that got good reviews, but was changed from the novel to have nothing to do with Jumper aside from the powers and general premise.

As cool as teleportation would be as a power, you’d have to have amazing focus for it to work properly so that you wouldn’t get distracted mid-teleport and end up somewhere completely different from your intended destination, just because you got distracted in between locations.

Fun Fact: I actually went to the high school they shot at for this movie and the only thing that was really inaccurate about that set of scenes is that you can’t access the river from the parking lot, since the park that the river is located in is across the street, but it’s still a fun and definitely underrated movie so that doesn’t really matter overall.
