Matt Smith is a good choice for Bogan the Son. The character was supposed to be the main antagonist of episode nine but Iger had that changed to Palpatine. That’s probably why Matt Smith denied his involvement, he was cast as Bogan, but when everything was rewritten, he was dropped

I love the effect of billowing volcanic smoke and dust having that bleak yellow color. It stays consistent with the setting - the Well of the Dark Side being volcanic - and reminds me of the Crack of Doom from Return of the King. The dust makes the setting surreal yet realistic before we snap back to the dark fiery visuals of the Well.

I really liked the score of the cave vision from the 2003 CW in this scene. Both visions do a good job of treating Darth Vader as an supernatural event to the SW galaxy

@@mazkeraid4039 I agree. I think it thematically adds that Anakin is a cosmic being when the cave painting shows his transformation to Darth Vader is a prophetic event that more than just the Jedi believe.
