I had this same idea several years back. Only I visualized an entire full body hologram of Jabba sitting on that platform he laid on in Return of the Jedi (scaled down of course) and I had imagined the hologram projector as a hovering device instead of a walking robotic one. I felt as many have expressed in the comments below; that it would solve many problems with this scene. Your rendition and execution of it was enjoyable to see!

I have to disagree with you on Han’s “character development”, him saying he believes in the Jedi and the force are things the J. J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan want you to believe as character development but he really hasn’t grown, he’s actually reverted back to being a smuggler - a Walmart version of what he was in A New Hope. He abandoned Luke, Leia and Ben/Kylo when they needed him the most and went back to his old life when a new conflict is in motion. It’s not true to his character at all and it’s something the Han of the OT would never do. So his sudden belief in the Jedi and the force feels disingenuous to me.

The work is good but it doesn't make sense that Jabba seems so upset just because Han runs his hand through his holographic image. Btw I don't see what it improves over the one we have.

Always thought it was odd that Han would step on a Mob-boss’s tail without repercussion. The Hologram would make more sense for both Jabba’s character and the scene.

An additional thing that bothered me in this scene is the ending of Han calling Jabba a human being, doesn't make sense
