Something I really like about Anakin and Dooku's last duel is how it parallels both duels Luke has with Vader in the original trilogy. Dooku baits Anakin to gove into his anger much like Vader does to Luke in ESB: "Now release your anger, only your hatred can destroy me!" Luke manages to resist giving in at that moment while Anakin does give in. But more importantly, the duel on the Invisible Hand reflects the final duel on the Death Star II. There, Luke *does* give in to his anger and pummels Vader into submission, cutting off his hand in revenge for what Vader did to him, and like Anakin did to Dooku. Both men have a moment of clarity to realize what they have done, only for Palpatine to goad them into "doing it" and take that step towards the dark side. Anakin gives in and listens to the devil on his shoulder while Luke manages to resist. This represents how the son is like the father, but is also his own man and in some ways he has become better than the father, something that is considered a goal of most parents: to have their children become better off than they were. One has to think how Vader may have been feeling in that moment, to be on the opposite side of the lightsaber blade, staring down his potential execution in an eerily similar way to when he executed Dooku, and to see his son come to his senses and reject the dark side and do what he couldn't and lay down his weapon and embracing what it means to be a Jedi: use of the Force for knowledge and defense, not for attack. Earlier, Vader dismissed Luke's plea to turn away from the dark side, telling him how he didn’t know the power it brought and could unleash. Over the decades, he convinced himself he had no choice but to go down the dark path and then continue down it, "he had no choice." But in that moment, he finally realized he was wrong and that he did have a choice all along, and still did. And so then he became Anakin Skywalker once again and made the choice to do what he should've done years prior: the right choice.

NGL I lowkey wanna see an extensive redux of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, not just to remind us why we love Star Wars… but in terms of detail to showcase how Luke and Leia’s traits all echo the hearts of Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala (even in this video alone, Anakin’s willingness to jump into a fight for what he believes in and his sass when held captive… is something Leia takes on from her father).

I love this channel I just discovered it. If I may suggest: a Jabba the Hutt analysis may be incredible. I’m an author and have considered writing an analysis of Jabba because besides one blog that discusses the Oligarchic Spirit of Jabba. Very impressed with your work

This is the first time I've realized this but Obi-Wan Kenobi should have some sort of brain damage from when he got knocked out at the beginning of the film.

The Gospel summed up 1. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory - 1 sin disqualifies us from heaven - 1 separates us from God - 1 is enough to send us to Helll 2. God came down to earth in human form (Jesus) - to live the perfect life for us (have a perfect record) - suffer for us leading up to the cross, on the cross, and die for us - He did this, to take the FULL punishment for ours sins 3. This means, if we believe and follow Jesus, repent of (turn away from ours sins), ask God for forgiveness, for what we have done - Jesus will give us His record (which is perfect and clean) instead of us having our own record (which would be full of sins) - meaning we can enter into heaven, for all eternity, instead of going to hell for all eternity Share this message with as many people as possible, so they may have a chance at salvation and have a chance at being saved
