I like to imagine a scene in a mental landscape similar to the one in an anime titled “Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works” in which Luke sees Anakin as he was just before he turned to the dark side. Just like Shiro said to Archer, Luke says to Anakin in a sympathetic tone “You lost a lot, that’s why you ended up this way” and he would reply “you’re wrong, it’s because I tried not to lose anything”, and that’s what makes it so tragic. There’s another scene from the anime, a post credit scene where Archer reflects on the choices that he made. I can just see Anakin saying very similar words “A boy once said I don’t like to see people suffer and die, but we was really struggling with was himself. He strived to do good but unfortunately his choice led him down a dark path. He lost count of all the times he wished he could do it all over and make a different choice. Anakin would go on cursing himself and this outcome until the end of his days. But in spite of it all one thing is certain, I was never wrong.” What I meant at the end is that he wasn’t wrong in the grander scheme of things, perhaps the Jedi order and the Republic needed to fall in order to make way for a better order (Luke’s order in Star Wars Legends and EU) and a new Republic. Therefore the Jedi and the Republic needed to start over, and Anakin was the one who made it possible.

Great set of videos about Luke Skywalker! I love how he starts out his quest as a kid with little experience of the outside world. He soon learns to hone his powers and comes of age as a Jedi and grown man. His bravery and compassion are perhaps his strongest characteristics. He does not let that fear take over, even in the most deadly situations. What character videos are you planning to upload next?

I'm already working on Anakin/Vader so he'll be the next set of videos, after that then I'll start covering more clone wars characters like Maul, Dooku, Ahsoka, and Rex, as for the order of those I'm not too sure yet

Just a piece of advice because i think your work is so great and should be far more popular than it is. I see that your Luke videos have far less views than your first batch of videos which is ironic as he is one of the most popular characters. I think you should do one video per character even if its a 3 hour essay because audience loose interest as it seems like one big essay cut in 10 parts which makes you loss interest on the long term, while even if we shall wait more time between each videos, each videos would feel complete and want you to wait for the other. Really respect your work, just a piece of advice, with few change like this, i think you can reach the 100k easy with your quality.

Thanks, I always appreciate the kind words, and I really appreciate the feedback, it's honestly something I've been wanting to lean more towards because I also tend to like a long video that has everything in it always too. The only issue i've ran into with it is I sometimes have to cut these videos down into shorter ones because KZbin's copyright system flags my videos with claims when they get too long. Their system is also inconsistent so that can make it frustrating to upload videos too. I might experiment with this and try to see if I can get a version of the characters I've done that have been split into parts, like Luke, palpatine, and Obi-Wan, and make a 2-3 hour version of each. It would probably just have to have more still images rather than clips of the movie playing like I normally do so I might throw out a poll to the community to see if they would like to see that. Again thanks for the constructive criticism, it goes a long way to helping me make the channel better.

“I am a Jedi like my father before me”. Luke became a true Jedi surpass his father and the emperor acknowledge him as a Jedi which to me shows both Luke and Anakin are the return of the Jedi.

Luke's plan never made sense to me. It was like, "I'll either save the soul of the father I never knew, or die trying". Sorry, but Vader never really earned that kind of loyalty from the son he only knew for a handful of minutes. Plus, if Luke ever saw that video footage of his father slaughtering younglings, I'm certain he wouldn't have tried to save him.

I hope that you won’t do Luke in episodes 7-9 since I believe that those films didn’t Luke justice. Star Wars Legends and Expanded Universe did Luke justice.

Let’s be honest Anakin and Luke journey mirrors each Anakin went left Luke went right I can never accept the Disney trilogy as the outcome of his journey all the good he did amount to nothing. The EU did Luke journey justice it wasn’t perfect every day was a struggle but he have something he became grandmaster of the new Jedi order have a wife and a son a life that Anakin would have wanted.
