Naah, Anakin WAS seduced by the dark side, but through his choices and the chancellor's manipulation, he edventually turned to the dark side. And the dark side made Anakin do a grrat deal of terrible things, but only because he chose to do them. I won't say:"Well, he could have just resisted the dark side because that's so easy.", no resisting the dark side is almost impossible if you have already embraced it, especially in Anakin's/Vader's situation. But him turning to the dark side was just the result of the previous pain he has already experienced, which leads to a (seemingly) never-ending circle of soothing his pain through the pain of others, which leads to more pain, which he then soothes by hurting others and so on and so forth. It was all part of Palps' plan to let Anakin experience as much pain as possible before he would pull the last string, which contains Anakin's fall to the dark side. My point is, that it was always Palpatine/Palps.
