As to Narim -> Simon: It was weird to see such a distinctive character as Narim in SGA. So I fantasized - Narim escaped or was rescued and lives on Earth with a new identity = changed to Simon now. Because, of course, everything about him is top top secret. 🤗

Still so many little bits they could have done with SG1 and the characters and lore, still sucks that they all got cancelled, the fact that the cast, crew and fans are still really active shows the staying power the shows had :(

That would've been the most insane twist. Having Narim step through the gate and act normally as we've come to know him and then BAM the eye glow before Sam gets blasted back with the hand device. Anyone else would be instantly blasted but Narim? Caring, gentle, slightly creepy Narim?? Or the more subtle and mind twisting game of playing a fake Narim trying to hide his contempt of everyone there.
