I’ve been listening to Malignancy since the early 2000s, and Mike Heller is my favorite drummer (possibly tied with Lille), but holy crap man, you NAILED IT. Alex is a fantastic drummer, and he does an excellent job filling in for Mike when he can’t be there. But dude, you brought the SPEED. And you brought the accuracy. I heard you going for all the little fills, splash hits, ghost notes, dude you were hitting everything and it sounded AMAZING. You’re awesome dude, and I bet Mike Heller would be insanely impressed and blown away 🤘🏻 Can’t wait to hear more of your own stuff too, I’ve been listening to “Reality drips…” and I am stoked to hear what you write in the future. What pedals do you use? I’ve been trying to relearn double bass (I sorta could do it fast) and I just have big feet so my ability to do it has waned. Any techniques and pedals that help you?

I have large feet too, I use the trick Bigfoot pro 1vs and the long footboard helps a lot

Just wondering when you use the Roland TM-2, do you have to use a big speaker for it to emit the sound of the triggers out loud or does it just emit the sound through the modulator? Because it looks like it’s coming from the modulator in every video showcases that modulator Edit: seems like your Defeated Sanity’s biggest fan! \m/

The module doesn’t have its own speaker, you can either plug the audio output of the module into a speaker/line in or use the MIDI out which is what I do. MIDI out goes into my interface and triggers a kick sample in my DAW!
