You can tell these guys have great chemistry. You can feel and hear in this song and how it's written. So stoked to hear the rest of the album. I was not the biggest fan of their last album, but this one is more of the DS I know. It's like a perfect combination of Repugnance and Passage.

colin probably had a thousand thoughts on how to improve the mix from the sanguinary impetus sessions.... it's clear that he's magnified the brutality 1000x and kept some of the utterly roomy and clean feel of the drums somehow, at the same time. agree with the other guy that this is more punishing than the last album as well and contains less overall gimicky sections

Amazing song, as good as expected. Tbh the only thing that bother me a bit are vocals. Josh is an excellent vocalist, so good on stage and a top notch asset to this band. But to me there just not enough variations in his vocals on recordings. AJ, jens or konni used different kind of vocals to emphasise some riffs, some groovier parts, where josh is constantly using the exact same vocal tone over and over. I hope to be wrong when we will listen to the entire album, but it was already like that in the previous album. Once again dont get me wrong, I love the song, and Im so glad to have a new DS album !

One of the very few BDM bands I've ever cared about. Not only because they're from Germany but because Grubers drumming is awesome with little articulations during his blasts. Not many other drummers go with his approach and that's what makes them stand out amongst the filth. And holy crap he even added 80s drum pads to his set up. The only other technical drummer in metal that I can note is the drummer in Watchtower.
