All the people who don't have the attention span for Ted the Caver: just watch something else instead of ruining the stream for all the people who are enjoying it. Ted's Caving Journal is literally following the source material perfectly. There's a whole long section in the original blog post where he goes into great detail about caving and cave equipment. I think the video where he does the same thing is really interesting either way, but it's intentionally recreating the source material. It's also pretty shitty to crap all over a small creator's first attempt at making content just because you lack an attention span.

If you say any word with the same intonation and delivery of their name, a lot of dogs will respond to the sound regardless. My dog is called Gon, but he answers to "goober" as long as I say it in the same tone. Especially when he knows the following sentence will be in the tone of "going for a walk". Any dog can be trained to associate any word to themselves, but they do not have linguistic or conceptual capabilities. For instance, Gon can't tell I'm talking about him if I use his name when talking to another person. Some smart dogs can memorize phonemes, and then associate it to themselves, but they still can't correlate semantics to phenomena. If you simply condition the new word similarly, they will answer to anything. They know the name designates them individually, but they do not associate a sense of self to names. Not even dolphins or crows can do that.

Havent gotten all the way through yet, but seeing as how consistent with the details the ted the caver thing is: I really like that Ted keeps bumping his head on the rocks above him. It feels like good foreshadowing of him busting his headlamp later in the story. Also, from what few photos had "Ted" in them in the written story, the actor actually kinda looks like him. The series is just really well done with a heavy attention to realism and detail. So again, if it *IS* foreshadowing, it's done masterfully in that it feels very real, very casual, and hints at elements of Ted's character and bad habits that will (hopefully) come back in a big way later

Then he continued on with the cleaning, so I assumed things are fine right now? I felt a bit of pain again recently. He did recommend coming back in like 6 months so, I'm gonna wait until then. Yo Wendi you probably won’t read this but here’s some wisdom teeth advice 1. The “SOCKIT” gel is absolutely worth it 2. If your jaw gets super stiff during day 1-3 use a measuring cup to drink 3. Go 20 minutes on/off with ice packs rather than keeping them in the whole night

​@doc_arsenic8595 there's nothing that will change whether or not you need to get them removed, you might never need them removed but also the later in life they're removed the more difficult the procedure is. Your dentist can take an xray and tell you whether they're crooked or not. (Source: getting mine out soon as an adult)

I'm really scared of a surgeon fucking with my face like that, and also the drugs they give you afterwards which are really addictive.
