I like the premise of this video. Having a reaction video to other guys' videos on the 'Tube could be a cool series. A lot of creative and talented guys on here 😊

Modes can potentially be useful. Basic: major/minor scale Advanced: melodic minor, lydian, mixolydian, locrian, phrygian, dorian, monochromatic, etc (I probably forgot one or 2 modes.) An arpeggio is very similar to a scale. The main difference seems to be that some notes are not used, the scale pattern is shuffled around in order, and/OR it generally repeats for awhile. One can also theoretically create an arpeggio that will seemlessly integrate with chords that use a key change (yet without ever playing a root note in the chords).

Modes and arpeggios are like the secret sauce to making your music pop. Keep exploring and experimenting with them!

is the bassline from the sub 37? if so is it a single note only? didnt se the ecording of the bassline!

As a matter a fact, it isn't! I'm using multiple bass sounds and alternate between sounds, samples & synths. In this cathe the bass comes from an FM bass sound I've altered and sampled into the octatrack
