Mine doesn’t seem to have a lot of sustain. Is that true for everyone else? Is it just how fuzzes work?

Interesting, no fuzzes often have a ton of sustain. Check out the vids on the green Russian and triangle reissue muffs for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaLMmGCIbLeDfrc The fuzz face style pedals do have less gain than these generally though. Are you playing into a valve amp? Is the pedal also pushing the amp? There are lots of variables.

@@samgoffenguitar yes, I’m used to my Big Muff which had a lot of sustain. New to the classic fuzz clones and was surprised at huge lack of sustain.

Yeah the fuzz face style don’t have as much generally as the muffs. A different beast all together. However into a pushed tube amp they can still scream if you want them to:)

I didn’t have an original, but I built one from a schematic and it didn’t have a lot of sustain or gain, I was actually pretty surprised. I built a BC108 version

Hi Sam. Great vlear video and playing! On the pedal it says BC108. The BC108C would say BC108C as in the choices he gives.

Ok, thanks for the photo later on in the video. Mike wrote on on the inside cover that it is BC108C !! If you have a demo of this with Hendrix sounds I'd love to hear it. Or even if you just answer me hear that it handles well Hendrixy sounds. Thanks buddy!!

you should try to roll off the insider bias trim ...expecially for humbucker guitars...

It's a BC108C. Sam, please edit the name of the video to "BC108C" Further into the video you show a pic of the inside of the pedal and Mike of Analog wrote with a marker pen BC108C. Look it up in the video at 14:37 and again at 15:13. You will do all of us and Mike also a big favour. Because we all search 108C and it doesn't come up because it's not in the heading. Thanks.

Great demo! It’s sad that this is one of the only videos I’ve been able to find that demo’d a Sunface into a mic’d cab as opposed to just using shitty camera mics. You’d think for a pedal as good as this people would wanna use mic’d cabs for their recordings... ahh whatever I’m just ranting. The point is-great demo!

Hard to tell outside of song context. I have this pedals and several other Analogman pedals. For 108 though I find the Fuzz Fella 2.0 kicks all ass.
