Hey man love the video, my duo is coming at the end of may, what adapter did you use for the power to the duo? I know people have used shaver adapters but did you buy a different adapter?

Got mine in last night, noticed alot of sound effect issues. For example with Keith Courage, the enemy death explosions are not accurate, same with Legendary Axe. Also the volume is abit low

Not noticed any sound effect issues nothing i instantly noticed any way so far and yeah the sound d is a little low.

i think we will get firmware updates pretty quick to iron out all the little niggles.

@RetroTuna most games sound fine. It's really just a few oddly. Still annoying that the openFPGA is more accurate to a TurboGrafx-16 than the Analogue Duo is lol. It's a nice console that is in need of firmware fixes

one issue i had with the openFPGA pce cd core is cd music was messed up but you can tweak and i got it sounding fine now. Hopefully they wont be too long with some firmware fixes but over all i am pretty happy with it@@lovelorn88nick

@@RetroTunaI noticed that as well. CD audio is fantastic on Duo and games like Rondo sounded pretty bad in some stages with the OpenFPGA core. Haven’t tested in a while, maybe that’s fixed by now.

Great detailed review Tuna 👌 One thing i dont understand is why they would ship without save states?

It is a shame it’s not there at launch that would be a great feature to have, well analogue os 2.0 is coming by the end of the year so hopefully it will get it then, but if it’s anything like the pocked we could be waiting awhile for save states

has anybody tried the NeoGeo controller by 8BitDo on the Analogue Duo? it is supposed to work on the Duo. seems like it would be a nice controller with that clicky d pad.

Not tried it but I am pretty shore they work but you may need to flash it with the pocket dock firmware to get full compatibility

My Mr. Heli doesn't recognize, but when I checked I saw it was not in the library. I would assume a game such as PC Genjin would be in the library.

have you tried giving it a clean, just checked mine is it dont know what the game is just hucard but it boots and plays. yeah you would have though pc kid would work, i wonder if they dont have all the cart versions in the database.

Oh, no, it plays fine, but doesn't add to my library. I just like how the system keeps track of how much you've played a title. @@RetroTuna
