Analysing and Ranking Armor Sets in Kingdom Death: Monster

This video is very long and the idea is you watch the bits you want, the beginning portion has the explanation of the scoring system I made up for this,. This video was very difficult to edit on my old, old PC and I've had to accept that slide recording is gone because the file kept crashing if I tried to edit it further. There's a lot of stuff I'd like to have edited further, but there's a limit to what I can do with what I've got. Here it is, errors and warts and all, I can't spend any more time on this one, it's not perfect, but it's done. For example, the Calcified Rolling Armor score on the Final Era 4 slide is wrong, it should be higher (tied with Indomitable Phoenix) which means that every Era 4 armor set apart from Bullfrogdog is perfect, Copper acquisition is holding back the BFD Armor for me right now, but that might change if other future monsters drop copper resources. Wow... that was a deep dive. each armor could have been its own video. I liked how you created a ranking system for the armors, how you divided them in eras and even how specifically you mentioned some armors have value outside of the point system if you are skilled/knwoledgeable of the game. The one thing that im neutral about is that some armors abilities are better in certain scenarios than others. I know the video would be infinitely longer if you would talk about those cases and this rating is more as a how generally good an armor is. but again all was preceeded and followed by a caveat of personal opinion and possiblity for the rankings to shift. Outstanding video and great information.

Depends on your node 1 (s)! If you want extra insurance against the Butcher then Screaming Antelope is great. If you want a challenge then Spidicules is the best showdown imo. Smog Singers has an incredible armor set but has noisy keyword issues and the showdown is a little soft.

Amazing video and I'm only through the first section but I already have a couple questions - 15:45 If you were houseruling Red Charm to be playable at its current crafting cost, what change would you make? 37:35 The Vagabond Armor Set card indicates that you don't get the set bonus if you are wearing Head Armor, but one of the benefits you give it points for is that it lets us keep Rawhide Headband. How much does the rating change if you take this limitation into account? Thanks for this great video, gonna continue to dig into it.

Death king armor synergizes with slow weapons. I’ve heard of people practically cheesing finale monsters with Legendary Lungs, Death King armor, and a perfect slayer.

You keep mentioning that you only die on a 1 on the legs serious injury chart. This confused me because I've never played this, so double checked my core rule book and it says dead on 1-2, as i thought. Am I missing something? Great video by the way, just this one thing that confused me

I have an outdated one, so not at the moment. If I redid it I'd end up splitting them by nodes because otherwise they don't really compare too well and the top 3 would automatically be The King, Lion God and TOM (L4 Legendary DBK).
