Mr Cole is really a stateman. Traditionally, he would have chosen to mock Fubara, who "defeated" him at the governorship polls, but instead, he is sympathetic with both Fubara and the state of Rivers. He even went ahead to profer solutions. I really appreciate you, Tonye Cole. This is one of the kind of leaders we need in Nigeria.

I'm happy that Mr Cole have said that the assembly members are in apc, which that issue is yet to be settled. There is already a supreme court judgement on the case of defection in the case of ondo. So until the supreme court decide this case nothing will bring back the assembly members. Mr Cole also put politics by saying there is no development in rivers state is a lie. Finally seun, tomorrow you bring other members of divergent views to your programme.

Whatever magic the judiciary of Nigeria wants to perform should not begin with Rivers State. We, the people of Rivers State will stand with our governor to the end. It will be an inconceivable error for the executive governor of Rivers State to go back to the people who left their party to another party to undermine his position as governor of the state to present a budget that is on-going. This man is correct, the state elders are hungry elders, they took sides and pushed one against other, instead of using their able leadership to settle the waring factions. Listening to that judgement, the Judge said, this is exhibition of might, and not obeying the rule of law. Then when the President warned the governor on Monday, that he should rise up to install security of life and property in River State. Some idiots said why Fubara? Is Fubara not the governor of the state? Now with this judgement, the governor is in a complex problem and all this problems is coming back to round table for settlement. It's just a pity.

In the leading judgement of Tobi JSC (of blessed memory) in INAKOJU & ORS V. ADELEKE & ORS (2007) LPELR-1510(SC), the late legal jurist held that gross misconduct which is the ground for removing the occupant of the office of Governor or Deputy Governor as prescribed under section 188 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended include (a) Interference with the constitutional functions of the Legislature and the Judiciary by an exhibition of overt unconstitutional executive power. (b) Abuse of the fiscal provisions of the Constitution and includes some acts which in the opinion of the House of Assembly, could constitute grave misconduct to wit: (a) Refusal to perform constitutional functions. (b) Corruption. (c) Abuse of office or power, etc. And that such a person is not a fit and proper person to hold the office of Governor or Deputy Governor.
