Analysts underestimate UpWork - Here's why

I think UpWork is underestimated by analysts and maybe to some extent - misunderstood. There's not a mature company to compare UpWork with, and it is evolving quite fast. In this video, I want to share my thoughts on the fee structure change that will have a positive impact on UpWork in 2024.

Spreadsheet investors don't make big money. Back of the envelope = homerun.

You could be right. I don't personally dislike spreadsheets, but they seem to provide some fake confidence at times. The quality of the spreadsheets depends on the quality of the input.

Thanks for the video, do you think that a significant amount of reelancers will move to an alternate platform because of the fee increase? Also how about a deep dive analysis on WeWork - it would be great!

Glad you enjoyed it. As far as I know, there is no alternative freelance platform with lower fees, so I don't expect any freelancers leaving due to this. What could happen is - freelancers/clients to work outside of the platform. In that case, UpWork will get a one-time fee that allows this relationship to continue outside of the platform. As for the last part - WeWork? I thought they filed for bankruptcy.
