Wow, sorry Alwuhu, but Cui? Frieza Soldier? BABIDI?! Not sure who you're convincing playing some of the strongest characters in the game. Everyone knows Babidi is a hard counter to nearly every 6+ DP character, but sure, "non cheesy" team, right. When you're ready to ACTUALLY try and show a modicum of skill, then play Mr. Satan only in DP battles, no supers, with a DDR mat for a controller. You think you're SO COOL playing with a controller. *Real players* use a PS2-era DDR mat that has a faulty wire that sometimes disconnects the mat if it bends too much.

Yes adult Gohan can be extremely good at countering lots of metas if used correctly. Full power charge to counter AIS and transform to counter characters with Super Armor

Second time i comment on your channel (never seen in me before lol). Before, I played only single matchs cause though DP's matchs were to extensive, but when I meet your channel and see how you play and the analysis you do I gave a chance to DP's, and now I only play DP's match and enjoy it so much. I like the team with: normal gohan buu saga, goku buu saga, android 19 and master Roshi. When the others uses only sparking and spam I change to Roshi for Afterimage. Great video!

Just so everyone knows, there is a glitch where if you have the battle item that gives you full ki it gives the character with it full ki when they switch in even with items turned off. Definitely need to get that fixed so we gotta let them know about it

Coming from a fighting game background, I'm noticing a lot of similarities to traditional fighters. People that spam instant-sparks and ultimates/supers are like zoners that want to keep you out with projectiles (Ryu hadouken and Guile turtle strats) and people that abuse Afterimages and play super aggressive are like Guilty Gear players that pick Chip and abuse his teleports to rush you down. Every fighting game has its own way to play the lame game, and learning how to counter it (patience and perseverance against zoners, and really good yomi and baiting against rushdown) is part of getting better. MK has combo breakers like this game's explosive waves, and MvC has some crazy strong combo resets and infinites, too. The balance in fighting games has always been between the knowledge of the players.

I Think dodoria is underated honestly. He's not cheesy but he's [or if we go abridged SHE] is pretty powerful character overall cool looking ult [to me atleast] and has some decent defense and damage output for their DP. Theres a lot of the lower tier characters that are a lot more fun then you'd expect that never get to see the light of day because of the damage output of some of the higher dp characters. I get the games not meant to be balanced. but some matchups really are not fun. Unbalanced is fine but should always be fun to some degree.

Yo Al, I watched a few more videos on ur channel, it seems like ur not aware of a few weird "quirks" (glitches) of the game. - Some times for no reason in particular your rush combo will just stop on the second hit so ur combo will just drop, because reasons. We call it the 2 hit glitch bec it usually happens on the second hit - Lift strike into a combo can some times just miss or the opponent can turn around and even block, because reasons. - The 2 different rush strings have different properties and will only combo from string 1 into string 2, and when you got their backs, sometimes they can just turn around because reasons. - Some characters like Adult Gohan and ultimate Gohan's kiai canon after a full rush string, potentially other moves will just drop during combos even thought it's your first time using it. Because, reasons - After Burst dash attack, guard break after charge up or down smash, step in attack, the game will just do a second hit automatically because of negative edge, because, reasons

A big tip on dealing with broly with low dp characters, is to side step smash attack, it’ll break through his super armor, I prefer the characters with side step to gut punch, it really opens people up, also forces them to use skill points if they preception counter

Ran Singles the other day as Bardock. Made a SSJ4 Gogeta who rematched me RQ cause i kept vanishing his Ult setups while also out boxing him. Made a Blue Gogeta RQ w few ganes after cause i was just wrecking him. Gogetas be starting with 5 or 6 Hp bars and doing insane DMG meanwhile Bardock starts with 3 and dose minimum DMG. surprisingly its not as laggy as other fighting games I've played. I remember DBFZ feeling terrible when it first came out. This game is hit or miss tho. Some games are quite smooth and other games are literally unplayable. Rollback will always reign supreme though. Its extremely dumb that it isnt a thing that along with not having cross platform

If you want to capitalize on sparking mode, I found out there 2 main ways really: 1. You find a way to Dragon Dash at them, perhaps after throwing some ki blasts and opening them up, and you just mash square mindlessly, that sounds stupid, but if you do that, the combo is SUPER FAST and is hard to super counter because the attacks just come out so fast. after your opponent falls, especially if its close to the ground, they can not vanish, you can just use a super or the ult. In your case, you probably would prefer using a super because you capitalize on ki management a lot. I probably would do the same, but if I feel like a ult can finish my opponent, ill go for ult. 2. This is more of a the cheesy way, and you just spam ki blasts lol... you can keep spamming and spamming, getting closer to opponent, and throw a ult or super you know that can hit. I think you kind of sometimes miss on capitalizing sparking mode, it can be a very scary state to deal with.

I agree, one should always be chilled and focused than angry while playing sparking zero. It seems like nothing works out and fun meter depletes almost instantly. My trigger is playing against someone who has bad connection, because then my game stutters. I've never quit a single game, but it gets me close to the edge when I stumble upon someone like that. Does anyone else experience that sometimes when you try to extend a combo (5x square, dash forward, etc.) the follow-up combo tends to miss and not track the opponent? Your character just punches the air and it allows the opponent to break free easily and counter you. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but it feels like it happens randomly

You should try pulling off taunts right before the combo resets for a video. I believe there is a small amount of time where you can taunt and cancel with z dash

anybody with super armor (broly, kale, giant characters), anybody with afterimage strike and anybody with a good instant sparking are the main metas. There are lots of characters who are viable though
