Yeeaaahhh mui goku is straight balls to play against now. Not kidding, I’ve had more than one match where an mui goku would not throw a single punch other than perception into knock back. Just ki blast spam until he can go sparking, and then just spam supers and ults. I was enjoying this update so much at first but I think we just traded a couple issues for a different set of issues lol

Also he has just as good zoning ki blasts, so because of his higher defenses, he can just outzone MUI. He loses to Whis because Whis ki blasts are better than broly's and has enough damage to bully Broly from far away, and since Whis is absurdly high damaging, he doesn't need many engagements to beat Broly, so one or two are enough.

@@mohamedmaatougui2469 Great breakdown Rosu ⚡️ for Broly his sparking mode is a lot more scary than MUI’s when they’re against each other because MUI has to deal with his hyper armor, & the damage Broly can do when he gets going whether he has a lot of health or not as yall know can down a fusion character in seconds, & even an entire team before they even know what happened. Zoning teams pay by letting him just charge or just shooting at him from range, & when they have to engage him & the Broly happens to know how to box just as good or better than you, you’re MUI & entire team is cooked. Also, auto dodge is high countered by his heavy ki blasts. Rosu covered the rest

Honestly I really hate this meta. I got Z rank and decided to stop playing until the patch hoping that would force people to throw hands more instead of cheese. I got on the other day and fought nothing but Ui goku’s who would do nothing but spam ki blasts at long range and only go in when he had spark. I do like this game, but these online metas really make playing online feel like a chore

MUI plays completely different from the rest of the cast and has virtually no weaknesses. Whis is on the same boat too. In MUI's case they should nerf to hell his ki blasts, he should not be both the best zoner AND cqc char in the entire game. On Whis's case his heal needs to be smaller since it can be confirmed way too easily, and also make his special vanishable. On both of their cases, they both should have their autodoge cost more ki and also not prevent backshots.

My counter for MUI Goku and Bluegeta zoning has been picking the tournament of power arena every single time. It's small and the pillar is now my best friend. Worked surprisingly well for me, reached S3 and an 18 victory streak, which for a casual like me is an already massive achievement 😂

Hey just a tip, something i noticed is that you usually can't do the second vanish specifically after a super counter, which means whoever gets the supercounter off will win the exchange (in most cases, still not 100% sure about this), so if you get 1 super counter off in a vanish war and then just vanish their vanish, even with ki disadvantage, you should win the exchange, because they'll be locked out of the 2nd vanish

I’ve GBG manhandled some MUI when this short dragon dash attack on the step zone that you can do. I haven’t messed around with it yet to try but MUI and Whis can’t auto dodge that hit only RC or super perception if they anticipate it but then you’re plus if it hits and those characters just got ate up with that tech

I still have yet to experience what feels like a “vanish war glitch” online it only goes bad for me when the connection is iffy between me and my opponent. Now oddly enough offline when I’m just chilling in a training room practicing SC I set the CPU to send me flying in that setting we all know and when we go into a vanish war I 9/10 can’t vanish the 2nd vanish and it’s always on that second one. It’s gotta be a situational setup for it to be happening when I’m messing with the cpu when he sends me flying and we go vanish war that’s where I’ve experienced me not being able to catch the second one so maybe that’s when it happens but online I go about vanishing whenever I want on solid connection

There is no counter to MUI Goku. You basically have to take insane risk to even open him up because of auto dodge. Even when you have him in a “punishable” situation. It’s not really a true punish because auto dodge bails him out

Don’t forget about wild sense even if you somehow get past his auto dodge the wild sense will just bail him out, they honestly should make it so that the wild sense turns off his auto dodge so it’s easier to deal With when fighting him.

With the vanishing, I don’t think it’s bugged. I think inherently how they changed it makes it super difficult online now. Before, if there was 3f latency or 6 or 8 you could adapt to that and learn the vanish timing, since it was always the same. Now, since the window gets tighter every sequential vanish, it’s already fairly difficult offline with 0 latency but can be done. If there’s any subtle spike of package delays, which there would be even with a good connection, it’s gonna make that second, third or fourth vanish feel impossible. Vanishing’s generous input frames made this less of an issue on previous versions. Just my theory of course but that’s how I feel about it. I certainly notice not being able to do vanish wars sometimes, but I don’t find that it’s based on what game mode i’m playing. And it doesn’t ever happen to me in local multi

I know I dickride Guldo but man, the new meta definitely makes playing him or really any low dp (especially in singles) 2-3x worse. Fighting an MUI who disengages and runs away the entire fight is the worst as Guldo is only ok at zoning if you utilize the strength of his giant paralysis ki blasts perfectly. I hope this new meta gets patched out and the old combat meta makes a resurgence. That’s why I like the stream lobbies, people play to have fun and box, except pyro with the giants 🥲

UI/MUI Goku auto dodge consumes ki, Whis’ does not. Both only dodge light attacks as far as I know. A fast character/ki blast creates more auto dodges to drain more ki. But they can just block or perception. So if MUI has a weakness it’s ki consumption but he charges fast.

3:50 It's absurd how much HP a fusion or Goku UI can take by just doing a vanish war, sometimes seems that it's better to just let them hit you to the end than try to fight it with super counter or vanishes They have to do something with it, make a super counter to reduce the number of attacks they can hit on you, so if you super counter 3 or 4 if his attacks, they can't hit you with all the attacks, maybe having a minimum of 2 hits they will always have to hit to finish the vanish war. But it's just absurd to have to lose so much HP to be able to get out of a vanish war with an high DP character, taking into account that vanish wars start from practically any interaction and you can get out of it to neutral in any way, It will always be with a player losing the exchange of blows

Idc i just reached Z rank with 4 4dp Chars. Bardock, Nappa, Trunks sword, scouter Vegeta. Swapping is still strong just not OP. Also the ki restore while you are switching is good against high dp chars. Strong chars have to stay in with no ki and i wont let you charge ki with my ki blasts from all the characters. Same when they try instant spark. Ki blast --> switch for ki. Works great. Only Problem are armor characters for me but i can break armor with instant spark or ape transform eventho they break my ape Armor too. But you could just use 4dp gohans for that and transform but i like my chars too much and stay with them. But anyway. Thanks for your videos. Helped me to get into Z Rank with actually characters that I think are cool with a 76+ % win rate.

Just played a game vs z rank i have all 4 char alive i killed 2 of his char(gohan adult and gohan kid ) and he wins :D and only 1 char of mine was low hp and already in the bench for like 1 min for sure and the rest were like 50% . What? My super countering allowed for me to eventually gain ki advantage. I just messed up the last vanish. If I didn’t run his ki down with super countering and let him finish the knockback chain, he had enough ki to continue the loop with a z burst dash, which as you can see he did do it once. The play I did was the right play, I just didn’t execute.

I lost 11 games because I took a break from playing until this update. I was very good. Getting warmed up to this update after not playing sucked. I used Whis. Started winning back to back immediately 🥱 even was beating MUI goku. Btw all my first 10 fight were a Goku variant. Very cringe.

MUI Goku, or as I like to call him, Ultra Stupid Goku, is one of the most dumb characters introduced in this game. I legit consider him to be anti-fun braindead bullshit. And you know what's the worst thing of all? The devs (probably) changed some game mechanics that were staple in the series *specifically* to benefit him and Whis. Let me explain what I'm talking about: in previous games, every single rushing technique could be performed freely, as in, you didn't need to be hitting a opponent to use them. You could perform any rushing technique "on air" with no problem whatsoever. Why is this important? Well, rushing techniques go through UI's Dodge and are an easy way to do so. In a reality in which one perform, let's say Flying Kicks on a whiffed hit, it could be an easy way to open up a UI Goku, while forcing the opponent to actually, I don't know, play the game? What a groundbreaking concept! But no! Let's remove this to benefit the devs little silver haired prodigy child at the cost of the entire rest of the cast! How wonderful!
