Im not gonna lie Singles feels like a meme 😭 It incentivizes you to not conserve a single ounce of resources to just keep your opponent away OR use all your resources to do damage. Its like im playing half of the game because of how little I have to think. Ive recently got to Z on singles as well and, although I do think it can be oretty fast paced and hype, It feels like the arcade mode of ranked. What I can say about it tho, it forces you to be mechanically great when it comes to comboing so theres that - learned a lot of stuff by playing through it.

the timing for the later vanishes are a lot later than it used to be. the way i do my vanishes is to press the button as their attack is about to hit me the timing for the first vanish is relatively early, but the second vanish if you do the same timing as the first one you're going to miss the timing, it's a lot later for the second and third vanishes hopefully this helps but who knows your game might actually just be bugged and not let you vanish

The vanish timing will be slightly different depending on their characters animation. I noticed it against a Z-gogeta because his animation is slightly longer than average, so instead of timing the vanishes from rhythm i think it’s better to watch the animation.

my main issue with perception is that tools like this when called out should be heavily punishable. the fact that comboing after ki blasts connects isn't particularly easy there should maybe be a mechanic where if you get hit out perception by a ki blast you have longer stun frames that allows a followup forcing them into a combo. idk thats just my feeling after a lot of FG experience.

Before the patch, it was very easy to connect combos with ki blasts and therefore hard counter perception unless they continue holding perception and eat the ki blast damage… now they changed it and ki blasts are pretty clunky to punish perception. They buffed side stepping and I guess they intended side stepping to be the way to counter perception spamming but side stepping can also be clunky.

If you're experiencing issues with vanishing, it's likely due to latency and some existing bugs. For some reason, the second vanish and subsequent ones often only work if you hold your movement stick upwards while timing your vanish.

I think something that’s more important to do now more than ever is charging when you get a sweep or a heavy finish. I see some players do that, and it helps keep your ki up that much more. It also messes with their timing if they’re expecting an attack right after you hit the stun. Hit stun rush chain like heavy finish or sweep, charge briefly, then continue the combo. Btw, I really like the high speed dashing in short bursts to waste their ki and close distance at the same time

Yes if they instant transmission and you hit guard you will automatically turn around and block their attacks. Also since they fixed fhe search function just moving around is now a viable option.

Hey man, if you're struggling with vanishing is because you're doing them on time (when they're supposed to) but I feel like they made the window a couple frames before that, so I'd suggest you start vanishing just before the impact (I imagine is like 4-6 frames before you'd vanish). It's either that or the latency got worse but it's earlier for sure.

I can't blame him. The latency is shotty every match. Sometimes you can't vanish anything, sometimes you can super counter like a pro. Other times you can't super counter more than 3x a match or at all. Sometimes you think the enemy quits but their connection just drops. Network stability issues are a problem rn.

@@alwuhugaming Vanishes will just stop working for me too on some games. Usually I'm able to vanish just fine or there's some slight delay that I'm able to adapt to rather quickly. Then there are the games, like the ones in your videos, where my vanishes just won't work at all no matter how I try to time them. I want to say that maybe it's lag but it's just the vanishes that gives me problems. Everything else works just fine. Idk maybe it's a bug or something?

Yeah, no joke, I have been trying to grind out to at least S5 since the patch and (Super)Perfect Cell is so fun and good. He has good defense and attack because of his skills and he has some excellent boons like Laser KiBlasts. 2 Bar Super that Pierces, has Beam Movement and does 8k damage + Rush Sets up for a Charged Attack afterwards, it's crazy. He got such a glowup from BT3 where I remember he was pretty mediocre.

It’s an exploit people are doing. If they spam a vanishing assault and get a start up animation on it, it will disrupt your combo
