24th ranked Oline in the NFL. He finished with 1,300 rushing yards at 5.0 yards per carry. More YPC than Zeke, Mccaffery, and Gurley. All 3 have better lines. 2,000 yards from scrimmage with the only threat other than him on the team being Odell who missed 4 games and relies on Eli Manning's arm to even be able to do the damage he's able to. I don't believe in definite "best player" debates because different schemes require different skill sets from the players, but I do believe in ranking players in tiers. If you don't think Saquon is at least a top 5 running back in the NFL, you're either too stupid to understand it, too ignorant to have a valid opinion, or a combination of the two. This guy is easily one the best in the league

Tony hernandez baker had several average games that his team still won. And a big reason he was able to get the rookie td record is because many if not most Rookie qbs don’t start the first season

3 years of awesome at Penn State were a real treat! Watching him all this time, if you want to treat yourself, look up the play at Iowa, where Saquon gets real low and stops on a dime with one quad, watches elite LB Josey Jewell fly by out of bounds (whoosh), and than re-accelerates up to speed on the same leg, all in one step. Any player, any era, nothing more impressive than the results of Coach Gault's training, and Saquon's work.

He’s a true Hybrid RB. He’s strong but very nimble and elusive plus he’s a great receiving RB too, the kid had 91 receptions. I think he’s the best RB in the league and I’m not even a Giants fan.

Been a Penn State fan for life.... I was telling people that this kid is Barry Sander 2.0.... people kept saying I was crazy. I told em he was gonna blow up the combine, I was nuts... I said he'd go top 3 in the draft, I was nuts.... This kid is gonna be a highlight reel machine for a decade at least. He doesn't take big hits, or the usual punishment a power back takes, which means longevity. His work ethic is just plain ridiculous, he lifted more weight than the offensive lineman at PSU, and lifted more than all but 2 or 3 in the combine... he is flat out ridiculous. It's like his parents lived next to a nuclear power plant and he was gifted with super powers. I can't wait to see him break 3000 total yards in a season.... it's gonna happen.

I took Barkley with the third, fifth and seventh pick in my three fantasy leagues. This guy is special and you could see it back at Penn. When he broke that first TD run I was watching and lost my mind... how he kicked those short legs and stayed in bounds was amazing. He is the best back in the league. If you take every top tier RBs strengths Barkley would likely be as good or better at that strength. He is the guy you will one day tell your grandchildren about just as our parents/grandparents told us of legends.

As a Dallas fan I think Zeke is the best Running Back RIGHT NOW.. BUT... Barkley barring injury looks like he will be very shortly... Gurley gets honorable mention i think he was the best last year. Kinda reminds me of barry and Emmitt, I would take Emmitt if i had to win a big game i think he was the better football player but barry was a generational talent you cant just will or heart your way to that, he was special athletically. Barkley had a great rookie season. For what it's worth, though, my Niners defense was able to limit him to less than 70 yards it no TDs! We may have lost that game, but I wasn't disappointed. Looking forward to seeing Barkley tear up the field next season....against other teams. Lol
