I'm not a Muslim but my roommate was a Muslim and she prayed. But it never really bothered us, when her alarm for morning prayer snoozed we used to give her a wake up call incase she was still sleeping, so depends on the person who you are sharing the room with 😊

Hi Dhia! I really enjoyed your video about the Dormitory on KZbin ! Thank you for putting such an informative video out. I’ll be living there as an incoming student for the next 6 months and had a few quick questions. 1) Do we carry our bedding(such as bedsheets, quilt, pillow, etc.) from our hometown or is it possible to get these in the dormitory as well? If yes, is there a cost involved? 2) What equipment is there in the kitchen? Is there a blender, microwave, oven? 3) Do we need to carry our cooking utensils from our home town or purchase in Korea or are there ones available for use in the kitchen of the dormitory? 4) Is there any cafeteria for us to eat food in the anam dormitory? 5) Are there any gym or dedicated exercise areas in or around the dormitory? 6) Is there a bidet in the bathroom or only toilet paper? 7) Are there any ATMs closeby? 8) Does the university provide hangers for the closet or do we take our own? I know these are a lot of questions and I would really appreciate your help if you could take out a few mins to answer them so that I can better prepare myself for the upcoming stay at the dormitory! Thank you so much!

hello there! i applied to korea university through a scholarship program from my country so most of the application and submission process were managed by them. as for the dorm, we had to apply through KU’s official website collectively since there were 50 of us going. i’m not sure if that was much of a help but you can definitely dm me if you want to ask more !
