Anam Shaikh - CPA Canada, CMA USA, Finance Professional

She moved to Canada in 2018, after completing her bachelor's in accounting and finance from LUMS in Pakistan and working in Dubai as a finance manager for the Aga Khan Foundation. In Canada, she pursued a CPA and an accredited master's from the University of Toronto, leveraging scholarships and OSAP to manage costs.
Anam's career advice emphasizes the importance of professional designations and networking. She highlights the significance of talking to many people to gain insights and make informed decisions, though ultimately, each person's journey is unique. She also speaks about her experience as a single mother of three and how this has been perceived positively in Canada.
Currently, Anam works as a Finance Manager at Vercity, handling financial and management services for social infrastructure projects.
