Still remember this movie released in 1999 and udaya tv was one channel they use telecast the songs and was eagerly waiting for this movie and after 2-3 years udaya tv telecasted this movie for the first time on Saturday 6 pm and CDs where released after that and usual cost of movie CDs of that day was 99 rs bought the CDs and was watching the movie in my vcd player golden times for 90 s kids because in that era lot of fantastic movies were made and very less of movies were released yearly and going to theatre in those days to watch the movie was awesome missing those days badly

Very good observation. Even I was thinking of it... Probably he was the track singer for this song and hence Hamsalekha might have used his voice for 2 reasons.... 1) Sonu Nigam did pronunciation blunder 2) They wanted a variation for Shashikumar at those points...
