So called "Nepali" language must be called in its ORIGINAL name, namely Khas language because all the languages that are spoken in Nepal are Nepali, not just Khas language. This is NOT justified. Calling Nepali ONLY to Khas Language is DISCRIMINATORY. This was renamed recently to "Nepali" only arround BS 1930 by Rana rulers with DICTATOR POWER rather than truth. Calling "Nepali"only to Khas Language is CRIME against HUMANITY because it is KILLING other Nepali languages. This must be STOPPED.

@Surya Well, they just added one more subject of local knowledge. In learning local knowledge, they has to teach local knowledge through Nepal (Newar) language. This is important. the constitution has given guaranty to learn mother tongue as well. But the language commission has not decided yet. We hope they decide Nepal language and Tamang language will be communication language in Bagmati province. This means Nepal language will be communication language besides Khas language in Nepal valley as well.

You see Nepalese have been falling at the feet of Indian brahmins for last 600 years. This is the reason why we need to make some changes in the Pashupatinath temple. Please support me to make a change because Pashupatinath temple is not the property of India. so why should Nepal have Indian brahmins at our temple? this tradition of having Indian brahmins at the Pasupathaintah temple was started by the Malla King. so for last 600 years, Nepalese have been falling at the feet of Indian brahmins. There are Nepalese who wants Indian brahmins priest to be replaced by our own Kirati priest. this is what we should do. let's join hands and remove Indian brahmins from our temple. SHAMSHUDDIN ILLYAS SHAH ,SULTAN OF BENGAL REIGN 1342-1358ad However, this does not mean that the Sultans of Northern India never attacked the Nepal Valley. It was another Sultan, the founder of the powerful Bengal Sultanate, Shamsuddin Ilyas Shah who wreaked havoc in Kathmandu in in 1349, thirty-three years after the demise of the powerful Alauddin Khilji. Based in Pandua, his campaigns reached as far as the Kathmandu Valley, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Champaran and Cuttack.[2] His campaigns were considered "world-conquering" in the context of medieval India. His army sacked the temple of Svayambhunath,[2] returning to Bengal with plentiful spoils. Ilyas Shah then invaded Orissa, which was ruled by Bhanudeva II of the Eastern Ganga dynasty. He further sacked Jajpur, Cuttack and reached as far as the Chilika Lake. He also led a successful campaign against the Kamarupa kingdom in present-day Assam.

Nepal is rich in history but sadly the magnificent palaces, stupas and other worthy structures during their tenure has not been preserved properly. To make matter worse, we lost quite a few in the past earthquakes as well. If we don't preserve them, then our glorious past will vanish and we lose our identity. Whatever remaining buildings/temples etc still standing, we have to make sure it is properly taken care of and no commercial restaurants etc should be open in/within those areas. I would also go further to say no residential and/or commercial buildings within the 5km(min.) perimeter should be permitted to build. The thakoo or thakuris that ruled Kathmandu from 800 to 1200 ad came from North India, who later became newars or are part of the newar heritage today. Thus thakuris today and the thakoo, thakuris of the Kathmandu valley were different.

People took more interest in business than in agriculture. Because of its economic prosperity, people from different places, of different tribes and races came to Nepal and settled down. Thus, the people having different customs and practices all merged into a nation. This resulted in the development of a new culture of its own. The cultural and the religious life of the people was highly developed under the Kiratas. The main religion of the Kiratas was Shivaite. They worshiped Lord Shiva, serpents, trees, stones etc. The images of Kirateswar Mahadev and Birupakshya show the standard of the architecture of the Kiratas. There was also no sign of caste discrimination under the Kirat administration. The Kiratas developed a number of towns. The thickly populated centers were Malatirtha, Shankhamul, Thankot, Khopung (Bhaktapur), Khopase, Sanga, Teku, etc. Nepal exchanged its culture and civilization with India, Tibet, and China. The introduced of Buddhism brought intellectual awakening among the people. In this way, the foundation of the vast structure of the Nepalese culture was laid down under the Kiratas. Indeed, this period can be regarded as the forerunner of the future development of the Nepalese society in all aspects.

Kiratis are not mongolians. Mongolians are from mongolia which is only 700-800 years old whereas kiratis are more than 2000-3000 years old of civilisation. Mongolians is very western term. Kiratis are kiratis and mongolians are mongolians, these two are totally different.
