I was not expecting this! I required hospitalization due to recurrent anaphylaxis that resulted from a bad reaction to my allergy skin testing. The first time I have ever needed to use my Epipen, not once, but two separate times! Join me as I show you how I spent my time in patient within the throws of severe allergic reactions and all the other symptoms/emotions that come with it. Thank you so much for watching, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Thank you for keeping us updated! Also props to Judd. It must not be easy having to be hospitalized for anaphylactic episodes on top of all the scheduled visits to clinics and such. 💕

Do you have a video kind of going over your entire story from childhood, to when you started having more severe issues, and how they progressed?

hopefully you're feeling better now. once, in the ER, I had a party in my room, too. I was on alternating IV reglan and zofran. the second dose of reglan was given to me with IV benadryl, which knocked me out since I hadn't had much sleep. I was very confused when I woke up to nurses and doctors pulling my shirt to look at my chest and asking how I felt and if I was normally that red. I only broke out in hives but was closely monitored for a while and now have reglan listed as a medication allergy. I felt no allergic reaction. it was more confusing than scary for me and staff was more panicked than anyone. hospital parties are scary.

it's actually my only listed medication allergy and, aside from some binders used and tmp-smz (which messes up my stomach) the only med that's made me sick in any way.

Jaquie, I don't know if you will actually see this. Have they tested you for "Alpha Gal"? That is a short name for a very long medical term for a tick born disease. My daughter actually developed this problem. There are many doctors that are not aware of this as it is a new problem. You can have a tick bite you, and either you get it off, or it may come off in the shower, i.e. It can have as much as a six to eight month incubation period. This disease causes you to become allergic to beef, and pork. Often times it is difficult to diagnose because the allergic reaction normally doesn't start until six to eight hours after eating the beef or pork. This is just a thought. We live in Tennessee, and ticks were bad the first part of the summer. Anyone can Google "Alpha Gal" and read about this condition. I do hope you feel better very soon. Hugs

Quit3Cut3 I'll bet,and also I've read that if you've had a mild allergic reaction you're at risk for anaphylaxis as well,my first mild allergic reaction was back in 2016,I got stung by a wasp, and my hand started swelling and itching and what's worse is that I was sleeping when it happened

danielgartin6993 oh wow that's scary. I've eaten nuts my entire life and just this year developed an allergy, so I had no clue I was even allergic to them lol. The human body is an interesting thing.
