it sucks that you are still hospitalized, but you are safe and your room is the coolest with it's light up sink thing and disney fireworks! plus you are being monitored by nurses and Janiece so you are in good hands :) ps, when i was hospitalized a couple months ago i had the Get Well Newtork TV too, isn't it awesome?

I literally work for the company that has your name on the tv. Getwell Network. I'm tier 1 technical support so I'm the first round of troubleshooting. Located in Tampa bay! But! Admitting spelled your name wrong. Not us. Lol! Hope you're starting to feel better! I'm glad you're getting the care you need.

Just wanted to mention that they almost certainly had you NPO at least partly, if not totally, because of the risk of vomiting during an anaphylaxis reaction and aspiration (so the vomit ends up in your lungs) rather than thinking you had/could have a reaction to any food. Aspiration can lead to a lot of nasty things in a completely healthy patient, with your immune system, they are going to be extremely careful to prevent infection. Also, who designed that light switch set up? Sometimes I swear they're actively trying to design hospitals in the most confusing way possible. Just give the room 3 light sections and a dimmer and call it a day.

Dani B. No they are not. I live in oklahoma and have some of the same issues as her. But i also have kidney diseases, so im constantly in the hospital with kidney stones, and there are very few rooms that are nice

Sadly, nope they're not. Some look like they shouldn't even have patients (sick people) in them (peeling paint, missing tiles from floor, things like that: edited to add some are like this room and some look more like a bedroom/hotel room than a hospital room [most often found in labor/delivery units]. It seems to vary by area, private vs. public hospital and probably other things I'm not aware of lol ).

Rachel Sonia......unfortunately, IV Benadryl is VERY addicting!! It makes you feel high as hell, and a lot of physicians wont even order it for that reason. Its really sad..I think shes addicted to it by now
