They mention in Knight that Anarky was never seen again by anyone after this night. It makes me wonder about his parents, he sneaks out on Christmas Eve, gets arrested and then disappears forever, and his parents will never know what happened to him

I think Anarchy's parents probably didn't care much about him, or maybe he's an orphan, which is what resulted in his more extremist ideology. He also talks about Bruce being a mentor to him at 2:57, I think he's desperate for a father figure. Just a small theory.

The creators behind Anarky originally set him up to become the 3rd Robin after Jason's death, before they knew about Tim Drake's existence. I would love to see a comic, or game with this alternate universe. He shares a similar skill set to Tim, and it would be nice to get that back and forth between his and Batman's ideologies.

A lot of this is spot on....EXCEPT. We are all in this together. If we're going to get our morals from entertainment, let me throw something else to you. Lost-Jack- If we dont work together, we'll die alone. Look up the scene. There is a lot of truth in it. I am by no means a social person, but humanity has to be somewhat social to survive. We're the dominant species on this planet and we HAVE to learn to tolerate each other, or we are not going to be able to make it work. I am not being a dick when I say it's a miracle that we have made it this far. We are, in our very existence, a statistical anomaly. I believe in a higher power, and I think he has to be somewhat proud that we made it this far. But the fight is far from over, and we have to do better, as individual persons, as a people, as a species. We dont owe it to God (Or whatever you want to call him/her/it) we owe it to ourselves. *steps off soapbox* Now I'm going to watch Brooklyn 99. Have a good night folks

I don't. It sounds like an overly elaborate form of victim blaming: Criminals abuse the people of Gotham, is it their fault? Nooo, it's the people's fault for letting them! He also seems to have a romanticized view of the past, while being unable to reconcile the duality of the cooperative and competitive aspects in society. The problems he complains about have been present throughout all human history, even the propaganda entertainment in the form of bread and circus.

Also if it was anarchy I would believe that after the events of Arkham Origins he decided to learn and re-evaluate himself into being more of a true Enforcer of his ideals. Hell you can make an argument that Shiva saw what he did during Christmas and told Ra's and they might have took him under the league of assassins to train him into being a fail safe weapon just in case if they deemed Batman Too much of a threat to continue living considering they only let him continue because they think he is the successor. But after Arkham City they finally deemed him a failure And sent anarchy now the Arkham night to destroy him

Turkish people saw him as a savior (which i am included) but he said that once: "If you wait for a savior that means i could not teach you anything. There is a saying "Don't give me fish, teach me how to fishing. " That is the exact same, but we became that kind of people in modern societies. Anarky planted 3 bombs at three of the most corrupt places throughout Gotham City. I agree with Batman that it's too extreme and can kill lots of innocent people. However, if one no longer sees people as people, that person doesn't give a damn to the lost of lives. it reminds me of Zsasz in Arkham Asylum, who see people that are following their daily routine as zombies: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoC2fKmgg9unm8k I have to say Anarky has a unique view on modernization- how, nowadays, people are force to get more and more busy, indifferent and aggressive... He also criticizes how the media use propaganda to brainwash people; and the government is owned by the wealth. There's some of his quotes: "We look the other way when things turn sour. Bury ourselves in our jobs. Consume propaganda masquerading as entertainment..." "And what becomes of a society that's given up? It rots." "Fidelity. Once upon a time that's what defined society. People coming together in pursuit of common cause. To care for each other. To protect and provide... But now... It's all backwards. We worship at the alter of competition. We build fortresses around ourselves. We fight. We betray. We have become the things we feared." He starts to share his view on Batman at 1:59 Batman's silence is so cool. He doesn't need to defend himself. If you don't want to lose a fight, don't get into one.

Anarky is such a good anti-hero and amazing antithesis to Batman like how Red Hood is. Anarky isn't some spoiled brat like Batman. Anarky does what he does because he cares about the people and represents them even if somewhat mislead and not perfect but what isn't? Batman doesn't represent the people. He never will. Bruce Wayne is a billionaire playing the hero and is just as bad as the villians bc he doesn't care about protecting people, if he did care about protecting innocent lives he would have killed his rogue gallery a long ass time ago. He is indirectly responsible for arguably the deaths thousands. He only cares about punishing and acting out cruelty because he's just like the joker. Edit: after this Anarky presumably goes missing. I assume corrupt cops killed him or gang members. Really just drives the truth of what Anarky is saying to Batman that much deeper. They're sides of the same coin and Batman stands in the way of true progress

Batman characters are always so well written even from an anarchist perspective (& i love Batmans character & the story of Gotham & everything that makes them), Lonnie Machin is a fuckin kid who saw his world hurting & wanted to change it. But being a child anarchist extremist is such an easy mentality to latch on to for a lot of ppl like him because of their unnatural twisted environment. But his biggest flaw is he doesnt know how to use his skills for the right things, he could be changing psyches with speeches & organizing revolution given some time. But because hes still a developing person he doesnt know exactly what to think, & does things out of desperation for a better world rather than compassion & efforts through community solidarity. Yet another Batman character thats a product of Gotham being a cesspool of greed & villainy, but in the most compassionate & sanest way out of everyone else

Maybe that's the trick. Maybe we use villains to speak truth, hidden under the guise of the "bad guy who gets beaten." Hmm.

Who in there right minds would ever agree or relate to the joker? Joker has no purpose, he just does what he does. He’s not hustling for money or doing crime because he is someone in need. No he just likes to cause chaos. There is nothing for joker to be “right” or to “agree” about, he just causes chaos. He’s a villain, and meant to be only a villain. That’s why people love the joker, even as children. As for all of the other villains yeah at least you can sympathize or relate with some of them to a way lesser degree than what those villains actually do, but in the end many of them are still villains. Not so-called villains, but straight up just villains. They hurt innocents for often selfish or dumb reasons without care. Meanwhile the heros simply want to save other people and prevent those villains from causing great harm to others and the hero themselves.

I have to disagree with some comments here-I think Anarky is very confused and doesn't rlly know where he's coming from fully and is clouded with a bunch of stuff-seems very jealous for no good reason-irrelevant whether Batmans better than them-and he says that as if he isn't caring and looking after the city that was definitely crumbling before he started and has the city's best interests at heart, he's not perfect and Joker etc came from him but he almost def does more good than bad-especially if you consider his work with the Justice League. Also Anarky was going to blow people up just for being neutral which shouldn't be a crime in itself just not rlly worthy of any praise(or criticism/murder) IMO Also he changes his mind on both working with batman and on the bombs back and forth within minutes
