She was marketed as a R&B artist, when R&B was rapidly fading in the US (when pop saw a big reemergence). ODIYL and YNBA were her only "hits" and yes, she's considered a one hit wonder. Between '01-'12, she's sold ~1.5 million albums in the US. It really isn't bad for an underground artist. I'd love for her to make a breakthrough so I can see and hear her amazing voice live!
