3:10 is a strange comment, I feel like even if it is based off of the shape of a woman isn’t that an appraisal to the beauty of woman? Idk maybe I’m just dumb. I just don’t think it’s really misogynistic just because it’s “considered” to be based off of a woman’s beautiful shape Sorry I don’t mean to seem bashful, great video, that part just through me off a bit but other than that I love the video

This video is awesome. I wish you made more like this, since I've been a musician for eons and never bothered to learn how anything works :P, so ASMR would be a great way for me to get interested. Anyway, great video!

Do you think it plays as good as a fender? I am getting a jazz master soon ( well it’s the Kurt Cobain signature)
@ThePsychedelicCherry5 жыл бұрын
PLays just as good, but has a slightly different tone and many different tone options because of the switches between the pickups

Kurts Guitar wasn’t a Jazzmaster but a Jaguar. Also it isn’t actually accurate to Kurts guitar as the paint job is done incorrect. I would personally buy a fenders Sunburst Jag then replace the pickups with humbuckers. Next I would make sure the three volume and tone things are actually there before any of this to make it more like Kurts

I don't think she was talking about you specifically, God. And it was pretty random. I was just addressing a legend about the shape while also trying to be quiet and not shake the mic with my knees. It's a balancing act.

Nice video, only there is an error regarding the pickups. The bottom pickup (or bridge pickup) is certainly used more when playing low notes, but not because it reinforces low frequencies or gives you a thicker sound, on the contrary, the bridge pickup gives a tone with more treble, allowing the notes to be more defined, since using the neck pickup for low notes or low chords will make the sound more opaque and less clear. On the other hand, the top pickup (or neck pickup) is used more when playing high notes to minimize the bite factor that can be found in those notes. There are exceptions, depending on what you want to do in each song and each part of it, but in general the bridge pickup gives a thinner and sharper sound and the neck pickup gives a thicker and duller sound. I think the confusion comes from when you have the switch further towards the edge of the instrument you are selecting the bridge pickup (the bottom pickup), not the top pickup, that is, when you think you are selecting the top pickup you are actually selecting the bottom one and vice versa, that's why when you think you select the bridge pickup you get thicker tones, because you are actually selecting the neck pickup, which gives that sound. If you have doubts about which pickup you have selected, you can do a simple experiment. Connect your guitar to an amp, select one of the pickups, and tap both pickups with your pick. When you hear the tapping on your amp it is that the pickup you are hitting is the one that is selected.

Okay not tryna hate but idk if she’s looking at notes or is just being super technical but if she actually plays guitar and truly knows what she’s talking abt which in some cases she is but some of the names she was using seemed like she was reading it off of something for example she said if you moved the pick ups to the neck selection it would make it more “trebley” which would be good for a rhythm guitarist...if a rhythm guitarist is on a treble pick up selection that makes me slash.I know this is a custom guitar most likely but someone explain to me why she has a whammy bar with P90 pick ups,unless she has a pedal or some weird thing I’ve never seen to compensate for the amount of feedback she would be getting thru the amp
@ThePsychedelicCherry4 жыл бұрын
Hi. I am a guitarist. I'm a professional musician. My guitar is a J Mascis Jazzmaster and it was designed to pick up feedback easily so that you can realyl make some cool sonic soundscapes with your pedals. You may be a guitarist that likes clean tones and that is your preference, bunt my audience is a lot of garage punk and surf rockers. as am I. to each his own.
@craigmcfiddle64574 жыл бұрын
Eh? People who make videos usually use notes to remember details and keep track of points they want to discuss. Vibrato bridges are bridges like any other. They just let you change pitch as you play. Playing with high gain and facing your amp are what will cause most feedback. Electrical equipment will cause noise too. Tremolo isn't the same effect as vibrato btw. Wish we could change that culture lol
