Spinal Anatomy: (WK5)(Tues)(Fall-20): this lecture, we start a deep dive into the nucleus pulposus and annulus fibrosus. Learn why annular tear within the disc can be the root of all evil for some but not all. We'll talk about the poorly designed disc feeding system and talk about the Pfirrmann system of rating this degeneration. I will also introduce you to the three types of annular tear, as well as the HIZ. Plus a lot more!

You gave an amazing hint how to restore disk on slide 19. I found that polysacharides are contained in the natural bee honey. Drinking before day start and at the end of the day can supply building blocks to disks with yoga.

Thanks for video. Many doctors on KZbin says that NP and AF don't have any blood supply. Although I am not even a med student, their saying is nonsense. So that they have blood supply even they are ver very limited, my understanding is that hernia will heal in time, it might take long time but as long as we take a good care they will heal. Am I right?

The herniation may be reabsorbed (disappear) with time, but not always. The tear that Gave "birth" to that herniation, will probably heal. The problem is, during the healing process, pain-carrying nerve fiber can grow down into the center of the disc (As the tear heels) and make this disc very sensitive and easily set off in the future.
